S3 starts months after S2 ends,7 months of winter according to Lauren Cohan(Maggie)

In one of the promos, you can get a pretty good look at it.

Yup.

well hope we get some good stories of how surviving the winter went, was it indoors? 7 months? Andrea will have been with Michonne longer than she was with the group.

Can't wait for Michonne and the Governor! Will we meet any other Walking Dead characters from the comics this season? — John
NATALIE: Keep a sharp eye, and maybe one of these handy, because by the end of the premiere, you will meet at least one previously unannounced character from the comics. We'll only tease that the person is alive — for now.
It's got to be one of the prisoners, right?

Or perhaps... [blackout]Penny Blake? Maybe she gets killed during the course of the season, and that adds fuel to the Governor's fire?[/blackout]

Having now watched both seasons, it seems rather odd that they didn't save the CDC finale for the second season finale.

The show actually narrowed its focus and scope in its second season (being more about the characters than the world and the nature of the apocalypse), which is kind of unusual.

Not really, I remember reading that they had a budget slash for season two, which had nothing to do with having extra episodes. So that's why there was all the melodrama on the farm for most of it.

Well that does make sense. Though it does make me wonder how they'll get back to the big picture.

So I decided to give The Walking Dead a go. Usually, I'm not into zombies. But damn, this show really has me pulled in. I'm loving it. :D

Glad you love it.

Also Talking Dead this Sunday is gonna have Danai Gurira and Glen Mazzara.

I'd love if they started doing prequel movies.

Just finished episode 7 of S2. Holy...****ing Christ....I KNEW that fate would fall upon Sophia, I just knew it. She was either gonna be dead, or a Walker. So tragic...

I found it rather implausible how much time they spent looking for her. Like, okay, sure, maybe an episode. Maybe even two. But it seemed like they spent the whole season looking for her. It nearly got them all killed. Well, it did result in Rick's kid being shot (and by extension Otis being killed).

We don't know how much time passed in those first 7 episodes. I don't think it's implausible to believe they would've kept looking for that amount of time.

I do, however, find it a little hard to believe that Sophia ran off, got bitten, turned, was found by Otis, taken back to the barn, and then Otis decided to go out for a nice hunt... ALL within about a day. It just seems like alot to happen within a fairly short period of time.

A good amount of time passed in the first seven episodes because Rick's hair grew.

Dish Network took away my AMC so will this be showing online at the same time that it is showing on tv?

I'm just glad they finally got off that damn farm (very nice farm building actually).

So, back before I was paying any attention to TWD, I remember seeing tv spots, and one of the scenes I saw was like...these 3 people, dressed in hoods or something. And they carried like...chains with hooks on them or something, at least that is what I remember seeing. Who are they? If I indeed am remebering what I saw correctly.

I just finished season 2. Incredible....simply incredible. I was sad to see Shane go, I really liked his character. I thought he was gonna turn around. And that person with the katana sword...WTF was that person? And finally, Rick reveals what Jenner told him at the CDC. Which rasies more questions. This....virus or whatever, everyone has it? Everyone in the world? So when a person dies, from any type of cause, they come back?

Yeah I was bad and did a little wiking....When Jenner first whispered into Rick's ears. I thought he was just telling Rick that Lori was prenant. But that was dead in the water when she told him and he was surprised. So for the rest of the season I was left clueless as to what Jenner could have said. For anyone that read the comics, is there any more info on what caused the Walker outbreak? Or was Jenner's data and whisper to Rick the last it was covered?

The whole CDC and Jenner situation never appeared in the comic and in the comic (as far as I know since I haven't been keeping up with the last few issues) they have yet to figure out what caused the outbreak.

So AMC is taking certain liberties with the show eh? Any word if Morgan will ever come back?
