I guess I can live without them ever getting a cure, don't need a happy ending, it's all about the surviving the new state of the world, I feel it's what makes the comics and show good for me anyways.

Unless the number of survivors greatly increases, humanity is doomed to extinction.

Though it's probably safe to say that there are some sizable groups of survivors out there. On islands, or in the far reaches of the world (the Australian Outback, etc).

You'd think some sort of remnant of the US military would still be operating, since they were quite active when the apocalypse started. They have remote bases and aircraft carriers.

Looking forward to the new human threat inside the prison, looks like the mindgames start in the next episode.

Yeah but I wouldn't say she makes it up, You had Amy and I dunno about anyone but I still think Andrea is fine.

Andrea is so stroppy though.

I hated how everyone found the armored zombies to be any kind of difficultly.

How to deal with them was obvious and the fact it was turned into some kind "Oh yeah, Maggie's found their secret weakness" moment, was just annoying.

They are tired, hungry and living on their nerves, they have been killing standard walkers on auto-pilot, so I think it made sense in the intense situation for it to take a moment to realize the way to overcome the obstacle.

You can tell already that she's like 10 times as badass as Daryl. Sorry Norman but girl got ya beat. Did you see the technique and stance when she sliced those walkers up?!?! Michonne is definitely more badass than Daryl. I will say though it's hard to top what Daryl went through last season. I almost forgot about that honestly but still Michonne is on a whole other level

So these zombies are basically... magic?

I mean, most zombie stories try to give it some (BS) scientific explanation (virus, genetic engineering, etc). They touched on it a bit with Jenner.

But these things seem to not function on any pseudo-scienticic level. They don't need to eat... or rest... They're apparently immortal.

I always wondered, since the only thing functioning in zombies is brain activity, how do they digest flesh ? Shouldn't their stomach eventually burst ?

Zombies have only been around like 2 years in TWDverse so who knows how long they live.

I don't think they actually... properly digest it. Seems more like they just have an extreme urge to try to eat. Even if it just goes down their gullet and falls out of their stomach.

But pragmatically speaking, they'd also need a functioning spine. After all, a functioning brain does you no good if it can't send any messages to the rest of the body. Magic or no magic.

I may be overanalyzing it.

Just the way I like em. :o:oldrazz:

Also the actress that is playing Michonne isn't too bad.

Lol, you like a grouchy Lady? :D

Well she has only pulled a mean face so far, time will tell if she has the hottness I think.

Zombies have only been around like 2 years in TWDverse so who knows how long they live.

On the show or in the comics? Because on the show, I think it's probably half that, at most.

Well they must expire. Anyone ever see roadkill? See what it looks like after a couple of days?

How about a year? Well, hopefully not, since that means you live in a place where nobody cleans the damn road.

Point is, these things can't last forever. Unless they're going to go from zombies to animated skeletons.

Unless they go into some kind of hibernation mode.

Over thinking it. There's no point in doing that with zombies cuz they make no damn sense anyways

I NEED PERFECT REALISM FROM THIS ZOMBIE HORROR SERIES!!! :o

Probably 2 years in the comics and close to a year on the show since Lori is nearing the end of her pregnancy.

Can we all just agree that they are all fortunate that the reanimated brain seems to make the need to eat the strongest function and not the need to procreate :word:

Well, I guess you could kill them all. You have all eternity... and there are a finite number of zombies.

But the fact that even the living are infected seems to be the most immediate issue they need to "solve". Make a vaccine or something.

A vaccine for the living is all they can hope for, because the walkers are permanently screwed. Like you said, they've got eternity to take them out, but it sounds impossible.

It's not about realism. It's about believability.

And you know damn well that that show (Revolution if anyone cares to know) has more logic problems in one episode than the entire genre of zombie movies.

Yeah, that shows list of problems, are about a mile long.

You'd think some sort of remnant of the US military would still be operating, since they were quite active when the apocalypse started. They have remote bases and aircraft carriers.

you waiting for them to run into some large naval vessels in the forests of Georgia?

Zombies have only been around like 2 years in TWDverse so who knows how long they live.

on the show it's probably less than a year. The first two seasons were a matter of months, and you only really had fall/winter go by until the start of season 3.

Can we all just agree that they are all fortunate that the reanimated brain seems to make the need to eat the strongest function and not the need to procreate :word:

New from Vivid Video it's "The Banging Dead"

the jokes about being eaten will write themselves I'm sure

i have a huge gut feeling that [blackout] Lori will give birth to a baby who eventually turns into a zombie [/blackout]

I am pretty sure that the zombies would die out in due time would they not ?
