"Now" was a good episode, it was filler, but we had to see the aftermath after the wolves attack regardless. Looks like next episode will be about Daryl, Colonel Ginger and Sasha. Should be fun!
Looking forward to next weeks ep with Daryl, Sasha , and Abe b/c it’ll hopefully resolve this zombie herd subplot b/c I think it's beginning to drag. Plus I’m finding other storylines/subplots more interesting from the past few eps than this herd being drawn away from Alexandria subplot . Doesn’t help that the scenes with Daryl, Sasha , and Abe drawing away the herd has now taken a backseat to other plot points after being the main conflict when this season opened.
I liked this episode. There's a lot of "filler," but it was needed to establish what is going on in Alexandria after everything hit the fan in the first three episodes. This episode felt necessary to me.
Thought the ep was alright. Having read the comics, I knew Maggie was going to announce she's pregnant sooner rather than later. Also loved how Rick continued to show what an absolute alpha he is by finally getting with Jessie (I hope). Next weeks looks much more interesting though. I've got a feeling that Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha are going to find Glenn.
I hope that next week's episode is the last of "this was what happened while you were with those other characters" episodes. I want the group to get back together so the story can really move forward. I'm getting a little annoyed at how slow the story is progressing.
Daryl is a fan favorite and the #2 merchandise seller of the show behind walkers merch and has 2 videogames. Not to mention the throngs of fans that would be put off if he got killed. Aslo AMC seems to love him since they're giving him a motorcycle show hosting gig during his off time from the show.
I know nobody is safe (except for Rick and Carl) and they could very well kill him off in this upcoming episode, BUT Daryl is right behind them as far as being safe and highly unlikely he'll meet him doom anytime soon.
Anyway. Love the casting. JDM is a great choice, I know Negan was based off Henry Rollins, but JDM does resemble Negan. At least more so than comic Governer vs show Governor and comic Rick vs show Rick.
Let's do a vote. Who do you guys think will be the next to die? Here are my predictions:
Deanna - Any day now. I seriously thought she was going to open the gate and just let the walkers eat her. Her days appear to be numbered, as she's increasingly (and understandably) despondent.
Deanna's son - I forget this guy's name but he seems like the type who is going to do something stupid and get himself killed. He's not as much of a *****e as his brother was but he's still a bit of a hypocrite and a coward.
Daryl - I know people think he's safe because the character is popular but the most shocking deaths are the fan favorites (just ask Game of Thrones fans). I think he'll survive for a while but I think there's a chance he could go by the end of next season.
Glenn - IF Glenn survived (and I think he did), I don't think that means that he's safe. I wouldn't put it past the producers to have a big happy reunion with Glenn only to have him clearly killed off a few episodes later. It would be a nice punch to the gut. Though I hope not because I really like Glenn.
Maggie - Conversely, I could also see the producers throwing a curveball here and having Maggie (and her unborn kid)
die at the hands of Negan. That would be pretty shocking, especially if Negan makes Glenn watch. I don't think they'll go this way, but they might.
Aaron's boyfriend - Again, I forget this guy's name. We haven't seen much of him lately but we got a good bit of Aaron this week and if his boyfriend dies at the hands of the Wolves, that could provide a good bit of solid character growth for Aaron because he will definitely blame himself.
Jessie's oldest son - Is it wrong to include this little prick just because I want to see him die?
Anyway, those are my picks for the Walking Death Pool. I think Deanna is going to die first, followed by her son. Then I'd say Jessie's stupid kid. What do you guys think?
My predictions on who's going to get clipped this season
Main cast
Abraham Ford
Morgan
Glen [BLACKOUT]Come on he's not dead yet, and depending on how early they show Negan and leave that iconic scene as a cliff hanger[/BLACKOUT]
