So uh, guesses who's going to bite in the finale? We know both Melissa and Norman are going to be on Talking Dead. And now we know there's going to be another surprise guest.
could be no one. there were no main character deaths in the season 4 finale were there?

Of the two, I think Carol has run her course, from battered wife to bad ass, it seems like her time, and it seems they still have interesting things to do with Daryl on the show.

Considering Reedus saying fans should "bring a tissue", or that the finale was going to piss some fans off, I'd be very surprised if there wasn't any deaths.

greg nicotero also said during talking dead after tyreese's death that things were gonna get worse. for the group as a whole, i would say the opposite. they for the most part have found some peace.

Man, Andrew Lincoln should get an Emmy nom for that. That was one of the most raw, powerful rants I've ever seen on TV.

He looked straight out of The Shining and I loved it.

First off, A+ for the use of "Somewhat Damaged" in the beginning of last night's episode. It was scarily fitting for the theme of the episode, and it's one of my favorite NIN songs from my favorite NIN album (The Fragile).

Andrew Lincoln was terrifying in this episode. He's always been one of the best actors on this show, and this episode really showcases that. I have to say it though: Women make Rick stupid and unstable. Haha.

All in all, another great episode. I am SO glad that this season has salvaged itself. I hated the first half of the season more than Season 2 (which is really saying something). In my eyes, this season has gone from the worst to some of the best I've seen from this show. Thank goodness. I'm pretty pumped for the season finale.

I have hated the use of music the past few episodes. I know that the harsher, "modern" sounding industrial and EDM (or whatever that was a week ago) is supposed to represent how these people are so unaffected by the apocalypse that they are still jamming to songs about dying etc...but it didn't fit with the series. I know the musical tone had to shift, but it should have been more happy go lucky stuff, like that one Bee Gees (I think) song during that scene with Rick walking around.

All I can say about this weeks ep is Et Tu Michonne. :csad:

I'd like to see Andrew Lincoln play a villain in a CBM. I think he'd be good.

I think what Michonne did had to be done. Rick was off his hinges.

Michonne may have just saved face for herself and the rest of the group.

I don't think giving a person you consider a close friend who has saved your ass multiple times a concussion is the right answer. She could have at least tried to talk to him first. Maybe if someone in his group that he trusts and respects had spoken up there, he would have calmed down a bit. But nah, just give the guy a brain injury. After all, those work out so well for NFL players and such.

LOL, I know they're just fictional characters here but it really is funny how often TV and movie characters sustain concussions over the course of a TV or film series that features action sequences. It's like the go-to trope to temporarily take the hero out of commission is to knock him or her out.

Seriously, if this was all real life, Batman and James Bond would have been eating through a straw long ago.

I came in late to this show -- but I don't get the hate for S2. Maybe it would have been rough to do live, but when able to binge it over a couple days, it's really quite good.

We got to know the characters then, which makes the payoffs that much better.

Same here, I binged it over 2 days and really liked it a lot. Haven't disliked any season so far.
