So the synopsis for Something to Fear makes it sound like we lose at least two characters, someone in the previous episode and someone in the finale.

@4thWallBreaker

I agree. The price of time jumping. It takes Morgan two months to discuss with Carol about that whole Wolf incident? So both of them were preoccupied for two months to even cross each other's paths or reconcile their differences?

Same for Maggie's conversation with Enid in "The Next World". She waits after two months to make an attempt to console and bond with Enid for helping her and Glenn. The excuse the writers give is that Enid's never around.

Then Deanna being a walker and somehow able to escape the community unnoticed to roam the woods outside of the ASZ for two months. Even though she should've been devoured by the walkers that overran her room, during the mid-season finale.

The Walking Dead - Episode 6.14 - 6.16 (Season Finale) - Titles and Synopsis Revealed

Episode 6.14 - Cross
Heath and Tara are still out on their supply run. Instead of finding goods for Alexandria, they find trouble.
Episode 6.15 - The Calm Before
Rick's group confront a horrible situation they may not be able to overcome.
Episode 6.16 - Something to Fear
In the aftermath of a tragic blow, Eugene falls captured by Dwight, a member of the Saviors, whom are hell bent on getting even with Alexandria, Negan teaches Rick and co a brutal lesson, which shows that Rick and co finally have something to fear.

Based on those last two synopses, I'm thinking that two main characters are going to bite it before the season's over.

This past ep was one of the best the show has done, so intense and really well shot, you should have listened to Carol, Maggie. :(

I'm guessing the bashed head pics Glen found in the barracks were Negan's victims?

Spoilertv just updated and said they haven't 100% confirmed these are correct yet.

Are they there as a reminder to his men of what could happen if they step out of line?

I'm interested to see how JDM plays the role, I find him a very charismatic and likable actor, he's not someone I can easily imagine hating and fearing.

Nah. Because he's a sick **** with a sexual connection to the baseball bat he uses to bash in the brains of his enemies. And he doesn't kill his lackeys when they act up. He burns their faces with a hot iron.

Extra good points.

I'm split with last episode. I'm normally not a stickler, but shooting slow-moving zombies and a firefight are way, way different. Someone should've at least got wounded. It's crazy. Some luck thrown in the mix, but yeah, The Saviors should've winged somebody. At the very least. I know they captured people, but still...

Is there any justifiable reason Maggie and Carol went on the mission to take out the Saviours?

So they could get kidnapped and keep us all thinking "WILL GLENN OR DARYL DIE?"

NO THE ANSWER IS YES! Did you not see the important part they played standing in a random part of the woods with no purpose?! GAWD. I feel like I'm the only one who watches this show.

It's like they were there purposefully to get captured by the Saviours. It's like the zombie apocalypse has also caused brain damage.

Yeah for some reason Glenn, Rick, and Maggie herself figured she'd be "safer" watching the perimeter of Negan's compound. No a pregnant woman would've been safer staying back at the ASZ to keep herself and her unborn child out any real danger. Now they're going to pay the price for it.

If Maggie hadn't tagged along Carol could've joined in on the attack on the compound, especially after that alarm went off. Rick needed as many people as he could to raid that compound's armory. Instead Carol gets distracted being Maggie's bodyguard, which isn't Carol's fault, imo. It just shows how much Rick and co. rushed into this attack.

^ Haha! Don't be too harsh. It was acceptable. Maggie wants to show leadership, so she tags along. Though she doesn't directly involve herself in the conflict. Then Carol watches over her and convinces her not to go in 'cause she's preggers. Then ambushed. It wasn't too hammed up. :P

No. She's pregnant. It was not acceptable. and piss poor story telling. One of the people raiding the compound could have gotten captured instead fo that ********.

Solid episode.

Guess the car in the background theory got thrown out the window.

that was a pretty bad ass episode

I mean, you can argue whether it's "justifiable" or not, but I'm pretty sure the writers did this because:

1. They wanted to prove even further that Rick's "methods" are blurring the lines between them and the bad guys; that they're willing to let a pregnant woman to be a part of the mission despite the huge risks that would come along with it.

2. They wanted to express some "girl power" message in this episode with Maggie and Carol.

3. They wanted to demonstrate how in the zombie apocalypse, there's no room for taking a break from survival no matter the reason. Pregnant or not, those zombies will still eat you. Pregnant or not, the living will do anything to you to survive.

4. They went for a cheap method of suspense for the audience, because "oh no, the pregnant lady is in danger now!" :funny:

Good leaders delegate. Not sure how her going shows better leadership.

In the comics, Dwight kills Abraham with a crossbow. I think someone in the show is getting death by crossbow before the finale. Some are speculating it's Tara or Denise as well.
