I think it's going to be Glenn or Abraham.

As for the clip... man, JDM was born for that role. You can feel the menace even when he is not talking, just from his look.

I am wondering what he will do to Rick in that RV. As a non CBM reader, can anyone tell me what happens in the comics?

Nothing. thats not even part of it. in the comics [BLACKOUT]Rick has his right hand cut off by the Governor... and that seems to be whats implied here... [/BLACKOUT]

could be just a nod to comic fans though and not happen at all.

If it's Abe, Rosita, Sasha or Aaron people will be highly disappointed. They have not earned such a cliffhanger death. If they want this to pack a punch and justify keeping people hanging like they have, it needs to be Maggie, Glenn, Daryl or Michonne.

It's Glenn or Daryl.

Probably Abe. He'll be the least offensive and least useful character to kill off going forward for the series.

I've normally been thinking it's Glenn or Daryl, but a few things are making me reconsider it:

1) in the preview, Rick is shown with fresh blood splashes on his face. Glenn and Daryl are way too far away from Rick for their blood to hit him.

2) during the NYCC panel, Lauren C became uncharacteristically emotional when asked a question. Instead of answering, she started crying and thanking fans for their support. Not only did she forget the question, but she could barely speak.

3) The preview had Negan question if he killed Rick's "right hand man", which we would naturally assume was Daryl or Glenn, however, the argument could be made that Maggie fits this label just as much, if not more so, considering Rick basically gave her control over Alexandria.

Glenn and Daryl are the obvious choices and I never even considered Maggie until now, but I think it makes sense, and i think her death might have the largest impact, maybe not on he audience, but certainly on the characters. I'm hesitant to say it, but at this point I think I have to put my money on Maggie.

I don't think they're killing a female character. Pretty much all the really key characters killed last season were female, and I think the chatter surrounding the show picked up on that. Doesn't mean they can't do it, of course, I just don't think it would be smart to. The ratio of male to female is already askew in the main cast, I wouldn't want to make it that much more out of balance, when there are plenty of worthwhile male candidates to be on the wrong end of Lucille. I think you can look at Daryl's story or Glenn's story and say with a certain degree of accuracy that their story could end right then and there and you won't feel robbed of story potential, but with Maggie, one: she's pregnant, and two: they've teased her having a leadership role at the Hilltop ([blackout]something that was followed up on in the comics[/blackout]), so I think there is still story to tell where Maggie is concerned.

Some fans assumed Carol was being killed off in Season 5, when McBride got emotional at either the SDCC or NYCC back in 2014. Her character's obviously still alive. So Maggie crying doesn't necessarily mean her character is being killed off. But I have noticed in interviews on TVline and EW during SDCC this year that she seemed sad.

I think it's b/c Glenn could be biting the dust in the premiere. And she misses working with Yeun. And if anyone's seen TV line SDCC 2016 video Yeun looked depressed and uncomfortable during most of the interview. Unlike previous seasons he didn't seem as motivated about Season 7.

**Character Episode Guide**
Updated episode guide! This list is a breakdown of which episodes each character has filmed so far. This is not a confirmed list, but it's based on very thorough tracking and should be mostly on point.
Rick - 1,4,5,7,8
Carl - 1,4,5,7,8
Michonne - 1,4,5,7,8
Daryl - 1,2,4,7(?),8
Maggie - 1,5,8
Glenn - 1
Abe - 1
Sasha - 1,5,8
Eugene - 1,4(?),6,7,8
Rosita - 1,4,6,7,8
Aaron - 1,4,5,7,8

For those wanting/thinking Daryl, nope, he's been Negan's prisoner for all of season 7A, he's been seen wearing a poncho or something with the letter "A" (for A**-hole) spray painted on. He escapes Negan at the end of season 7A and reunites with Rick in the second half.

All confirmed with set pictures.

Again this is from the Spoiling Dead facebook fan page.

I only posted the characters from the line-up.

About Rick's hand

[BLACKOUT]All of the set photo's haven't shown him to have a green "glove" to cgi it out. So they could be throwing people off with that preview or all the pictures they've shown him in, he could've taken that green "glove" off.[/BLACKOUT]

The Walking Dead showrunner teases what's next for 'conflicted' Dwight

Entertainment Weekly said:
As much as Walking Dead fans may be hating on Negan for what he is in the middle of doing to one of the main characters, there is plenty of hate left for one of the big bad’s lieutenants — Dwight. After all, the dude stole Daryl’s motorcycle, stole Daryl’s crossbow, shot Daryl, and appears in season 7 promo footage to have stolen Daryl’s jacket. WHAT DOES THIS GUY HAVE AGAINST DARYL DIXON?!?

Obviously, there is a lot left to unpack with this character, and that unpacking will begin when season 7 premieres on Oct. 23. We spoke to showrunner Scott M. Gimple to get the scoop on Dwight and the place where he and the Saviors call home sweet home.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We’ve already talked about one of your big new locations this season with the Kingdom, but what can you say about the Saviors stronghold, also known as the Sanctuary?
SCOTT M. GIMPLE:
The Sanctuary is a major location for our story moving ahead. It’s a pretty epic location. It is one of the locations that took a great deal of planning and our team did an amazing job with it. It’s a very big piece of real estate and it’s a very big set and there are aspects that involve Walkers and just involve scale and a lot of different textures in there. It really is something else and people will see what they saw in the comic and then some.

There’s obviously a lot of focus on Negan right now, but what about Dwight? We know from the comic what that whole thing on his face is about. Will we get an answer to that soon here as well? And what else are we going to see from Dwight this season?
Dwight has a very big story this season, as he did in the book. Dwight is a character that was trying to escape Negan and now he is one of Negan’s most trusted lieutenants. That says a lot about that character. And he became one of his most trusted lieutenants after his face was burned. That makes for a very interesting character, a very conflicted character.

We see a lot from Dwight this season. He is very important to the overall story and the story of Alexandria and the Sanctuary, the story of the greater world. He has one of the more complicated stories. For the thing that has happened to him, you could think the people he should like he would like and the people he should hate he should hate, but it’s all mixed up.

Is there still goodness in him somewhere?
It gets very complicated with him. He was an idealist and his idealism is what led to the great, great bitterness that you have now, which drives him to do some awful things. It’s complicated.

That makes sense, since I've been seeing people all over the facebook comment sections say that [BLACKOUT]Abe and Glenn both[/BLACKOUT] bite the dust.

I agree. And that way TWD "The Journey So Far" special (airing on the 16th) could've aired this past Sunday instead. I don't think the ratings for that would've matter as much against the debate. It's just a retrospective of the past six seasons.

Whoa at least two characters will die? I bet one of them will be a nonentity nobody will miss.

Guess that makes the speculation about Glenn and/or Abraham more likely then, especially is it is more than one... Although I guess there's every chance that if there is more than one death it won't be in the opening sequence

It'll be interesting to see how it all goes down, and who it'll end up being

If that ends up being who it is, I f***ing hope you get banned. :o

I'm just speculating based on suggestions I've seen around here, if that's aimed at me. Ive not actually read anything specific to say it's definitely be anyone, I'll reword my post

If true, it's probably AMC's way of making up to the viewers/fans for waiting 6 months to reveal Negan's (first?) victim.

I agree the Negan kill has to be someone that will really have an impact. It can't be a side/throwaway character. But if it is Glenn, stupid as hell to have it be a cliffhanger. They've made us think he's died already a few times and they faked his death with the mid season cliffhanger.

So if they did that again this time with the cliffhanger and then killed him, it would be a stupid decision. If you were gonna give us the comic accurate death you should've given it to us in all its glory. Enough with the cliffhanger ********.
