It's Georgia, the winters are fairly mild. You put on a sweater and go about your business. The way they make it sound, you have to wonder how they would survive in a place like New York where it actually snows.

Depends on what part of Georgia. Northern Georgia has a wind chill thats as cold, if not colder than Chicago, and it does snow here, notas much as New York, but you can most definately freeze to death.

Yep. Some of the behind-the-scenes features on season two also mentioned how cold it was when they were shooting the night scenes. During the finale, the temperature was down in the 20s, and they had to digitally remove the breath that was visible from the actors who were playing walkers.
