This is great news for this show. God knows we need some good dialogue and characterisation. Morton had some killer lines tonight.

Well, this was a great episode. Easily my favorite of the season. It featured four characters that all had their stock elevated.

Michonne went from being the most insufferable character on the show to having a break out episode. She was awesome. She had empathy for Rick, compassion and partnership with Carl, and even a sense of humor. She also reasserted herself as a badass too.

Rick continues his path to regaining his wits. I still don't like how this show handles mental illness, but hey, we need an intelligent Rick.

Carl continued his growth as a warrior while showing remarkable heart for his infant sister. His little speech to Michonne about her being a selfish accomplice may have been the smartest bit of dialogue in a long time.

Morgan was great, I love that the show went back and delivered on a long lost storyline. Continuity. His southern accent was waaay out of control and it's kind of messed up that Rick was only a short drive away from him this whole time. But he is a great character and maybe he'll resurface again. If not, that's okay too. What an episode to send him out on.

Locations! God it was great to get out of Woodbury and the prison. Those aren't bad sets, but when that's all you ever see your eyes get tired. It becomes boring. So this was a nice change of pace and will help with the eye fatigue when we get back to the usual locales next week.
