So this:

design similar to WW's onepiece in the comics,

will become this in A:AOU:

With a skirt! And jacket! I like the modern redesign and I suspect WW will get a re-tool as well.

I'm still hoping for something more modern, or at least a fabric skirt like above, then 3000 year old Hoplite armor. These are modern mythologies. I would think technology and fashion on Themyscira evolved just as it did everywhere else. Otherwise I'm not sure what that says about the fairer sex. William Marston, the creator, understood this, giving the Amazons advanced technology and modern clothing (for the 40's). Grant Morrison is about to go back to this with his WW graphic novel this year as well.

Modern clothing is a bit hard, if not impossible to define, for a fictional culture with no inherently defined stylistic values.

I love this colour scheme for Wonder Woman. But, I'm not a fan of her costume being a jumpsuit.

I'm not sure that is Scarlett Witch's "superhero" costume either. If Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver receive their "origins" in Avengers 2, then this may just be her regular clothing.

IF she decides to join the Avengers at some point during the movie or Avengers 3, then they'll probably give her something slightly more superheroic.

That's probably true, but I don't think this other suit will be like that swimsuit costume. Whedon doesn't seem like the type to do that.

And I have to say that it's great to see that concept posted by Smallville nonetheless. Slowly but surely, female costumes are getting less ridiculous. At this point, Snyder would look silly if he put WW in something skimpy because no other CBM is doing that anymore. These crazy panty costumes will die someday and I will be there to dance on their graves. t:

Not really a fan of the look as a costume. I thought the Jean Grey costume from Last Stand would have worked fine for SW. Hopefully that's just her initial appearance.

SW's look isn't as iconic as Wonder Woman's also. They have to at least make some iteration of the classic costume as that's what the audience expect to see. It might not have the briefs, but it should still at least look like it's derived from her costume.

That's not really a redesign, it's just tattered clothes, I expect once they're not the villains they'll be given some duds from SHIELD and she'll look like a fusion of these designs:

Gotta remember though, Marston also intended Wonder Woman to be a very sexual character, remember what the lasso symbolises (sexual dominance etc), and if you remember that, it's not so shocking that she ties men up and then they are compelled to tell her what she wants.

Also, have you seen Wondy's design in Earth One? It's just the classic design with lace up boots.

Well, I'm not a fan of her original suit, but now she looks absolutely BLAND. Too casual. SW had much better version of the outfit. Close-fitting red coat.

Frankly, I like how original this is and much of its design elements are awesome...but she needs long hair! It's a bit too Faora-ish as is.

It's excellent at covering skin while still showing a strong feminine physique, for those that care about such things...
