I'm not too fond of that. Covering the lower legs and yet showing the upper thighs/crotch area is so backwards to me. That "skirt" is just a couple straps. I don't like these leotard/ bathing suit based costumes in any color or form. She doesn't look like a real warrior.

I'm not saying that it'd be good for the movie, but cosplay outfits can be fun, I'm commending the artistic ability in putting that outfit together.

That's one of outfits in Injustice or something, isn't it?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, so many of these designs just don't read Wonder Woman. That doesn't even really look anything like her. Good cosplay though.

The Injustice version is much better, I agree this cosplay costume is a over the top, the Injustice is streamlined.

For some reason I cannot explain Wonder Woman looks decent with it, even if cover less than the default one.

The first one is awful.
The second one is a bikini.
The third one looks like a grandma.

I think it is tricky balance between, too sexy and too conservative. Below are some other female superheros from the co-play showing both the bathing suit finish and pants.

It is instructive looking at these pictures. I think pants can work. They can look equally sexy and also be utilitarian rather than a bathing suit finish or even a skirt.

Apparently the woman I linked earlier has a whole website dedicated to her cosplay, where she does many different characters and explains how she builds her suits.

She's a good-looking woman, I can see why she'd enjoy dressing up, also helps to have the artistic talent to conceptualise and build these suits.
