From red urchins to orange sea cucumbers, researchers monitoring the fastest-melting glacier in East Antarctica are surprised by new-found biodiversity under the ice at Bunger Hills.
Researchers spotted the unique behaviour amongst the endangered species at Ningaloo Reef, and believe the "hassling" from males could be keeping female whale sharks away from the site.
“This will enable us to generate thylacine young at scale for rewilding, without the need for surrogate mothers,” Colossal co-founder Ben Lamm told us.
The giraffes, who are cousins, were born just four days apart at Mogo Wildlife Park. The pair now make up an 11-strong herd at Mogo and are already doing "zoomies" as they explore their new surroundings.
