Apatow flicks actually have acute psychological insights, and have something to say about the nature of male bonding. Plus they have funny people saying funny things in funny situations. Neither the people, nor the things, nor the situations in Wayans brothers movies are funny. The Wayans bros. just make ludicrously unfunny stabs at "racial humor" based in no social reality that anyone lives in. If anyone thinks that their "observations" regarding race are either funny or in someway accurate that person should come to planet earth sometime.

No, he's not right. While Apatow may occasionally have something to say about the nature of male bonding, it's certainly not the cornerstone of each of his movies.

And have people forgotten that the Wayans did the first Scary Movie? That was genuinely hilarious, and I don't hear many complaints about it.

look, there are plenty of actors and actresses that i like... but when they make a mindless 'junk' film, regardless of how much I allow it to waste hours of my life, I would never begin to think its more than mindless junk.

I have to agree with the sentiment that this would be a real waste of space and time.

Why don't people understand these days if the first movie is successful at the box-office it's more than likely it will either a)warrant a sequel or b) be remade sometime in the future. It's just the way Hollywood works. If you really have a problem with write your own movie and get it made.
