Michael Bay bringing Ouija to the big screen

Man, I hope he doesn't recycle footage from Pearl Harbor in this (as he did with Transformers).

The characters might be close to spelling something, and just then a huge explosion rocks the room, 40 army dudes bust in and one starts screaming at one of the Ouija players, "You moved it! Don't you ****ing lie, you moved it!"

I'd imagine it to be like "Jumanji", but it's homicidal ghosts running around instead of animals.

The movie is not taking a "Jumanji"-like approach, which involved a game coming to life.

:oldrazz:

This sounds intriguing, this could be a very cool movie if done right :woot:

So...what...they are all gonna sit around the board and the camera is going to spin around them a lot? (with bright lights shining from above them)

When are we getting Monopoly, Scrabble and Battleship movies?

The only proper response to this I can muster is,
lol?.

Its not gonna be like that at all. It says so in the article.

It will be "aesome" to quote micheal bay.

So who wants to bet the religious groups who can't take a movie for just being a movie go ape**** over this.

I'm still waiting for Bay's remake of The Ten Commandments.

im glad they are taking a comedic route to monopoly...

NOT KIRSTEN DUNST!!!!!!!!!!!
:(, she's not "young and sexy"

I don't care what it says in the article. There's no other way to make "Ouija" without a "Jumanji" approach.

Nah, this will probably end up being some lame adventure story where the main characters befriend a spirit(s) they contact through the board. Bay will be the first one to tell you he makes big, loud movies for boys, this probably won't end up any different.

Plus, Hasbro probably wants something light.

MONOPOLY I want to see. Not so much this.

I can't wait for TROUBLE, a LOGAN'S RUN inspired romp through a colorful, futuristic world where the Pop-O-Matic Bubble looms large.

I do hope this is a period film.

A group of teens will accidentally summon an evil ghost, who will use a machine gun and drive a sports car in his quest to kill them all to become human again.

it doesn't say anywhere Bay is directing just his company is involved in bringing it to the big screen
