Character you would like to play: Lex Luthor.

Powers: Super genius, unlimited resources.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): Uhh... the supervillain... group/former Injustice Society?

Three reasons why you have chosen that character: 1) I have several stories that I want to tell as the character.
2) He has connections to almost everyone in the RPG in some form or another and I look forward to trying to manipulate some people for my own gain.
3) He's freakin' Lex Luthor! It is not the DCU without him around, planning something evil.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG: I have plenty of experience at playing evil bald guys and I have an extensive knowledge of Luthor's methods and motivations. I also have several plans that I have been developing for a while that I would like to see come to fruition.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG?: Once, perhaps more if needed.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Bold Book Antiqua.

I basically copied and pasted my form from the previous OOC thread with some small changes made.

Character you would like to play: Blue Beetle

Powers: None, but he's got lots of nifty weapons, gadegets, and gizmos. Plus, he's a great fighter (what crime fighter isn't?)

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): He used to run with L.A.W., the JLI and the Just-Us League.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:
1. I played him last last season.

2. The Question asked me to play as him.

3. I feel I can make this character evolve in ways we'll never see now that he's been killed off in regular continuity.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG: I have a good imagination and I can come up with and add to lots of great storylines. I'm good at writing realisitic characters.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Once or twice. I won't post everyday, but I will be able to make a decent amount each week.

Okay, just so you know, Watchman. In the RPG, Scarecrow died, became a fear demon, and then became human again, so he'd be pretty pissed about that.

OK could somebody help me and give me a rundown with the whole Scarecrow turning in a fear demon thing.

I asked this but didn't get a response, so here's my second try.

I'm not sure if i will hang on to Red X for long next season would it be ok if did a short arc as him while playing another character?

So I play as Red X for a short time, while playing as the other character. Finish as Red X then continue with my other character?

Well, I've always been against the playing two characters thing, but I think they should allow you to do it.
After all, as you say, Spike did it. It would be hypocritical to not allow you to do so as well.

Sorry. For some reason, I always get the two of them confused.

That's understandable considering they are actually two different personalities of The Leaguer.

Has anyone played post-Crisis Superboy? If so, what did they do with him?

Someone played Conner for a bit...I'm trying to remember...
I don't think he did too much...helped out a bit against the Unity, fought some evil version of himself or what not, is still a member of the Titans...that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully someone will be able to go into better detail.

OK could somebody help me and give me a rundown with the whole Scarecrow turning in a fear demon thing.

Basically, he was running with Mordru for a while, who mystically altered Crane's fear gas so that the person's halucinations would actually come to life. After Mordru was defeated, Crane realized that he would get the chair for what he did while working with Mordru, so he commited suicide by turning the mystic gas on himself. However, his spirit lingered on, infused with the mystical energies of the fear gas. He then began driving people insane all over the country. The Question (that's me), figured thos out, and with the help of Dr. Fate returned Cran back to the land of the living. He retained some of his powers after that, but they soon faded (although, you could make it interesting and have him discover that he still has some psychic abilities). He was last seen with The Joker, having set a bio weapon off in Bludhaven with him that killed most of the citozens. He is currently at large.

Basically, he helped fight Unity, went to help look for survivors in Bludhaven, but got all freaked out by it. That's the last time we saw him. Our Superman could have Clark talkin to Conner about how you can't save everybody. That is, if our Superboy doesn't return.

Back in season 2, Scarecrow teamed up with Mordru, Black Adam, Deathstroke, and the Shade to form the Dark Alliance and make war against the heroes. Mordru gave Scarecrow a mystical scythe which unlocked his inner monster (the Scarebeast). In the final battle in Keystone City, Crane was stopped and seemingly faded away. Turns out he became a fear demon who was stuck "haunting" the section of Keystone where he faded away.
Long story short, the Question was able to stop him with a little help from Fate, and he became normal again.
During the Unity arc, he teamed up with the Joker and a few other of Gotham's rogues to help stop the Unity in their own unique way (lots and lots of killing). He was responcible for creating the massive bomb of Joker Venom that wiped out the population of Bludhaven, leaving all of the city's people dead with a hideous grin on their faces.

Not sure if he did anything after that as it's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Well, it would be good to have some Floyd/Luthor interaction. Maybe hire Floyd at some point to take out some competitors on the business market.

Rex's absence kind of puts a stop to plans with Red X, but i do have one arc that explains more of his past. It will be short only about 3-4 posts. So if rex returns then i will apply as Red X again.

Hey guys, something I noticed. When Tropico stopped playing, Superboy just kind of disapeared. Same thing happened with our Azrael. We should make it a rule that if the player disapeares and the character made any interaction with another character, then that other character should use the character as an NPC until he/she can think of a way bto write that character out.

Harl wrote Superboy out.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I was trying to backlog and find what you were talking about.

I'll be honest. I don't remember that happening and it's too close to playing two characters at the same time.
In fact..it is.

So I play as Red X for a short time, while playing as the other character.

That's having two characters and we don't do that in this RPG.
I'm sorry. But it's been pretty much the rule.





Also, if you have OOC posts that refer to Season III, please post them in the Season III Thread. Hopefully the season will be wrapped up this weekend.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG: I've never played an RPG before but still want to learn to try and give it my all.Nightwing is one of my favorite heroes and I want create some good stories,including him taking the guise of "Renegade" an infiltrate the Secret Society as in the comics.
