I hear ya. I'm going to be really busy this weekend as well. As I said when the subject was still being discussed actively, the end of season deadline really puts unnecessary pressure on stories to finish appropriately and satisfactory.

As of right now, is the IC thread going to be officially closed by mods on the 1st, or is that date simply the day that we're aiming to wrap things up on?

Either way, Purple, I'm sad to see you go. I haven't always liked your ideas and you sometimes come off as rather pushy about them (although that shows a dedication that I don't think is necessarily bad), but you're not a bad RP'er and I hope you stick around, and try and figure something else out. There are many ways to go outside of the box while staying in it after all. Also, for the record, since I probably haven't done so yet, Happy B-Day to you.

Lastly, I really wish this RPG would lighten up. Most of you have been a bunch of tightwads lately.

I do have a life outside of the game, which is by far my main priority. That's the reason why this is my last season, as well as the reason why I'm opposed to such a needlessly strict deadline for its end.

Spike...you more than anyone else knows that we do bend a little even with deadlines.

Yours and LT's arc is the main one so I'm not going to rush it. However I want all the smaller arcs pretty much tied up by the end of this week that way your arc can pretty much take center stage to end the season.

I have one more arc that I need to finish up before the end.
I can complete it by myself, because it only involves NPCs.
It would be a great "ending" for my time as Robin.

I'm pretty much religated to doing nothing since MB and GL have been appointed GM's. So all I do is sit back and make sure the arcs come together cohesively.

Are you really that uptight about the rules?

I want to write a story about how someone gets ahold of the helm of Nabu, and how Nabu and Hector Hall would react to do this, and what they'd do to get it back.

Something new and surreal, a real mind-trip. And you're suggesting I go to the Ultimate DC RPG because of this even though it could fit easily into the regular universe? The UDC RPG doesn't have a Fate yet, I need the established history to help me out.

But if you really want to be that big of a Richard about it.

I'm going to give myself a birthday present and just quit this rpg today. Conner was a fun character, but he was more reactionary than having his own plot to work towards. I had an idea for him and Fate, but that isn't going to happen.

I know I'm coming across as a big jerk right now, but I'm the type of person who thinks outside the box. I know I push the envelope a bit, but each and every time I know that if everyone just tried to show some trust in me that it would pay off.

I probably have as many people in this rpg not liking me as there are people that don't think I'm a bad guy. That's good, it means I'm doing my job. When you come up with radical ideas, you know something is wrong when everyone agrees with you.

I'll play Conner for the rest of this season, and after that he's open to whoever wants him. Or you can cast him back into limbo. I'll still be around, so feel free to PM me if need be.

I'm sorry that you feel like I'm being an ass for enforcing the rules of the RPG. Its a rule from the earliest days of this RPG. If you want your own take on it there are other RPGs that you can do that in. UDC, One Universe, Multiversers.

• You can choose to be any superhero or supervillain in the DC Universe, as long as they:

Are to be established on Earth, as in, if Lobo is to be involved, he has to reside in a DCU Earth city...

Are NOT deities, gods, or people such as Shazam the Wizard. People like Superman and Captain Marvel are okay, though...

Are true to the personality and abilities of the character, such as NO Pre-Crisis Superman, no moving planets, sneezing away the Milky Way, no amnesia kiss... EVERYTHING is set POST-Crisis, and Post-Zero Hour, in the current continuity of the character you are/wish to play/playing.​

Again, I'm sorry if I come off like an ass, but I'm just doing the job that I was asked to do. Its our responsibility as GM's to enforce the rules that make sure our continuity stays good. Just because you can't get your way everytime you try something doesn't mean you should quit. We've had one big rule change go into a trial basis already for next season; we can't really do another without giving it some more time.

Jesse QUick..is...a character...No one has used her to my knowledge, however BnK has put in a request to be able to NPC her next season. But please, don't let that stop you. PC's are first priority before NPCs, so it's your choice.

I like the design (not as much as his normal one) but not so fond of the colors. Or perhaps it is the shade of the colors that bothers me.

One design for Slade I hate with a passion is the one from that Teen Titans cartoon...
