The "World of Heroes" DC RPG Season IV Signup/OOC Thread

One design for Slade I hate with a passion is the one from that Teen Titans cartoon...

Design yes, voice no.

Perlmans voice is exactly how imaged Deathstroke to sound, he friggin' nailed it.

Oh the voice was great. Just yea, I hated the design. You couldn't tell it was him at first glance. Sure he had the helmet being similar to his mask but still everything else is like "what the hell?". :(

Don't be a ***** Charlie.

Ok, I look at this way: If he keeps insisting that the rules not be so strict, he can leave and either join Ultimate DC or create his own where he can have different/new rules. There is nothing bad about what I said. We have rules that need to be followed, end of story.

You live in Texas? I'm from NY but moved down here in Texas a while back. What area? Some of my friends are now in A&M. :P

A neat little tidbit: Anyone who has Kryptonian font installed on their computer can see that Rudy actually was using Kryptonese when he was first talking to Superman, and then when he used his telepathy on him.

And if you don't have that font on your comp, then it just looks like plain English, so it doesn't make a difference, but I think it adds a little something for those people who do have it. :)

Charlie:
Except what you said was:
Ok, bye! Glad to see you go if you think you can break the rules.
Purple never even made that kind of statement. He was proposing things and seeing how far the rules went. At least he did so in a civil manner, unlike previous people we've had in the RPG that had a more agressive approach. Also, rather than just leave it up to the GM's you had to go and give him a kick even though he said he was leaving. That's like giving somebody a kick extra even though they're already out of your house. It's not a particularly nice attitude. Like I said, some of you really need to lighten up around here.

So, you know that old idiom?

If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Jesse QUick..is...a character...No one has used her to my knowledge, however BnK has put in a request to be able to NPC her next season. But please, don't let that stop you. PC's are first priority before NPCs, so it's your choice.

I have a couple of ideas for her...I don't think she was done justice in the DCU. I wanna make her as badass as she should be.

In my eyes, at this moment, that is the nicest thing I could have said.
So what's the alternative? Oh yeah, not saying a damn thing. :)

Thanks for making me aware. I might have to take that into consideration next time I try voicing my opinion.

Guys guys guys...settle down...can't we all have a campfire and sing koom-by-yah (spelling?) while roasting marshmellows? Chill. :(

That's what you think.
I will drug the marshmellows so that when you heat them the drug activates and then you won't know what you are singing.

*whistles*

:O

Giving somebody a kick while he's already been told off by a GM isn't expressing an opinion, FYI.

But hey, you just do your thing.

Ok. Whatever you say. I'm done fighting over something that isn't worth fighting over. I gave him a "kick" and there is nothing that can undo it, unless I edit, which really is useless since it has been quoted.

This thread makes me happy, then sad, then happy, then sad.

Stop toying with my emotions! :( :) ;)

Or it could be the drugged marshmellows taking effect.

This Thread is weird...

Marvel OOC is like the cool frat house with keg parties every night and jello fights on saturdays.

DC OOC is the jigh end upper crust one. "Oh, don't crumb on the carpet."
"Have a wedge of cheese and some Burgundy?"

I think both threads have a bit of both actually. It shifts from time to time. Marvel OOC is currently in the frat party phase. DC OOC is currently in the high tea phase.

And no, Kid Flash was brought back. He didn't die at all, anyway, since he was actually propelled into the Legion future, but eventually returned.

Master Bruce said:
Didn't he die in RPG continuity?

No he was sent to the future where we aged him *nice going, DC copying us* and then we deaged him before we brought him back. He went off to 'find' himself.
