Three reasons why you have chosen that character: 1) He is a deadly villian.2) I thought about going for Lex again but I see that Spike is already using (and quite well I must say) so I decided to go for someone else who is just as dangerous 3) He can battle Superman to a standstill

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Once if not at least every other day.

How did you find out about this game, Recruitment thread/word of post/seeing the RPG OOC/IC thread? I played previously and I find I have a little more time on my hands and thought I'd get back into it.

I'd highly suggest doing some research on Darkseid before RPing him. THe Darkseid Respect Thread that was up a bit ago should suffice. Darkseid is capable of taking down Superman with a single punch (though that might be too powerful for the Man of Steel). A properly RPed Darkseid is something I'm having trouble with, even though people apparently like my take on him in the One Universe RPG. If you want to talk about it, feel free to PM me.

Powers:

Solomon Grundy possesses tremendous strength and stamina, the level of which varies with his different incarnations. Sometimes he can be held by a group of normal humans, on other occasions, even Superman has not been able to defeat him. The weird elemental energy that imbues his form with pseudo-life makes him virtually indestructible - he is impervious to bullets, fire, and extreme cold, and can survive indefinitely without food, water, or oxygen. The only thing that has ever been able to hurt him, was the Mist's special toxins, developed to take out Grundy's plant tissue body.

Even when he is destroyed, he has always been reborn sooner or later. The soul of Cyrus Gold enjoys his pseudo-life through Grundy, even though Gold's whole personality is never present in Grundy's "life". Grundy's personality differs from incarnation to incarnation, but he seems to retain some memories of his experiences from one time to the next.

Grundy has also proven to be able to absorb certain forms of energy and manipulate them at will. This ability has always been subconscious to the point of being accidental, though, but it would suggest that Grundy is even more powerful that he has the intelligence to realize.

Quick question about Grundy, while you're here. Can he say anything other than "Solomon Grundy, born on a Monday?" In the only comics I've read with him in them - Long Halloween, Dark Victory - this was all he could say. But you seem to suggest he has a larger vocabulary. Is the whole "Born on a Monday" thing just a Jeph Loeb gimmick like having Scarecrow speak in rhyme?

Most of the time he's like the Hulk. Childlike in motivations. I plan to play him along those lines. The rhyme just comes in when he's kinda dazed. Plus, I'm sure all those bad guys out there will find evil ways to motivate him. Heh.

Yep. His speech patterns are basically like the Hulk. During his time with Infinity Inc., he talked 'normally' but he ussually just has a really infant-like mind.

I think someone said earlier that it would be earthbound to avoid anymore satelite destruction (one of my favorite parts of Season 1, BTW. It was just so climactic).

Who tried to destroy it?

During Season 1, Sinestro unleashed an army of Quardians (sp) onto the Watchtower and eventually sent it crashing into one of the poles (if memory serves me correctly).

During Season II, the Parasite destroyed it by taking remote control of many other orbital satelites and smashing them into the Watchtower (killing 2 birds with one stone by removing the Watchtower and also preventing anyone from detecting the Unity's arrival).

Yeah, we should have the Watchtower on Earth this season. Mabey Hub City? It would pump some money into the local economy what with tourists and all.

Well, his personality and manner of speech and inteligence varies every time he's reborn, just like with his strength level. Some times, he's completely midless, only spouting that nursury rhym over and over. Sometimes, he's like The Hulk, all "GRUNDY SMASH PUNY HUMANS!" Sometimes, he's like a kind yet ******ed child. And sometimes, he's very inteligent and well spoken.
