"It's Zoom and Boomerang. I believe Zoom used some sort of sonic boom. We have to do something before they strike again. J'onn. Batman. You've got to do something."

Wonder Woman indicates that she'll be right back. She walks to her private chambers and pulls out an elaborate engraved case. She opens it and reveals a shining sword. She picks it up and returns to the table.

"This mission just took on a new meaning for me. We have to do something. The sword of my mother will give me the edge I'll need to finish my task."

Dinah nods.
"I understand, and will help in anyway I can."

*Hal sees John leaving*

"Ganthet, can I go back to Earth?"

"Only if you can get His permission..."

"Dammit..."

~I'll ring him up, sir?~

"Yes ring. Ring him up..."

The Parasite looks out the window of LexCorps Towers and notices Lex wandering through the area.
Suddenly Luthor's assistant comes in through the door.

"Mr. Luthor, I need your signa- AHHH!!"

Rudy jumps the assistant and leaves thr body as a pile of ash. He then transforms into the assistant's form and goes to the ground floor of the building to see Lex walking in the street.

*Hal sees John leaving*

"Ganthet, can I go back to Earth?"

"Only if you can get His permission..."

"Dammit..."

~I'll ring him up, sir?~

"Yes ring. Ring him up..."

*Hal has been in dire need of a job for some time now, and if he was ever going to get back to Earth, he would need a job. he sighed to himself and started speaking...*

"Mr. Lex Luthor, this is Green Lantern Hal Jordan, calling from the planet Oa. I have heard that you are in need of a powered bodyguard. Would you like to see my resume?"

OOC: Lex is gonna be occupied in a second.

IC: Rudy curiously walks up to Lex on the sidewalk.

"Lex?"

Rudy grabs Lex's arm and drains just enough to get some knowledge from his mind. It...startles him. Something's really wrong. He decides to dig a little deeper into Luthor's mind. Rudy comes across fogged memories that had obviously been carefully hidden from Lex himself.

"Faust...Jordan...Lex...GAAH!"

Rudy was taken aback as he uncovered what had been done to Luthor.
By this point, onlookers are horrified as they see energy being absorbed from Lex into the other man. The Parasite ignores the bystanders.

"Lex! You're mind has been violated. You have to come with me!"

"Dammit. Screw the rules. I'm going back to Earth!"

*Hal races off to Earth*

OOC: hope this will post...SERIOUS lag right now...might be the fact that I'm posting from Asia, or the server.


Digger: "Gotcha Sinestro, get ready for some serious gadgetry Zoom...after all, I come from a toy making background, and we all know toys are the inspiration for the DEADLIEST of weapons...heh."

45 minutes later CB produces for Zoom a pair of ULTIMATE Yu-Gi-Oh wrist mounted card shooters incorporating Sinestro's wrist replicator's.

"Here yeh go Zoom, instantly replicated razor-edged death cards...they'll replicate at 1,000 per hour under normal conditions."

"As far as me own weaponry goes, I think I'll stick to buildin' me own," Digger thinks to himself.

OOC: Jeez, what's this loon gonna do with 1,000 razor cards per wrist per hour. I'm just glad the heroes here rarely post so's we c'n do what we damn well please. (Was that last comment a challenge? YES!!!!! heh)

*Zoom decides to go test out his new equipment. He ports out into the closest city and proceeds to kill everyone in the same fashion as before, by embedding his own business cards within civilian heads. As Zoom finishes up with the last citizen, he stops by a game store."

To clerk, "Give me an xbox controller and I'll spare your life."

The clerk, scared s*itless at the site of his customers dropping like flies, hands him an xbox controller, a ps2, multitap, controllers, and random games.

As Zoom is about to exit the store, the clerk drops dead, Zoom looks back, "...not."

*He then returns to base.*

"Rudy~, I'm home, and look what Santa brought."

[OOC]Whatever city, doesn't matter, I'll leave it up with future posters to finish that up. Oh yea, the corpses have no outter markings on them. So everything just kinda loox like they all just dropped dead spontatneously. Think ghost town, except with corpses.[/OOC]

Lex in obvious pain begins screaming, "AHHHHHH! What do you mean? AHHHHH!"...flashes of what had happened were like a dream. He felt as though he was being mind-wiped again. Only this time pain was a key factor as well...as Lex felt as though his mind was tearing itself apart. He imagined this is what Superman felt like when he was exposed to kryptonite.

Lex began to scream, "MAKE THE PAIN STOP! OH LORD! MAKE IT STOP! AHHHHH!"

Lex finally collapses to the ground in an unconscious qivering mass.

"This is gonna hurt, but I suppose I owe you for getting me in the Society."

Rudy picks up Luthor, draining him at the same time, trying to siphon off some of the pain in his mind.

"YAAAAAHHH!!"

Becasue of the intense mental anguish, Rudy loses control of his form and reverts back into his regular purple self. People watching recognize him and run for their lives as the huge purple monster roars in pain. Parasite grits his teeth through the pain and activates his smart portal. He carries Lex through it into the IS Base.
Once inside the base, Rudy lays Lex down on the couch and lets go of him. The blinding pain comes to a halt. Rudy stumbles backwards and sits on the floor to catch his breath.

"Wow. That was intense."

Rudy passes out from exhaustion.

:Tired of waiting for a response Wally takes off heading to each loaction where he may find his comrades:

*Zoom wakes up and goes to the main room to see if Rudy has seen the xbox controllers, instead he is met by Lex Luthor on the couch, and Rudy passed out on the floor. Zoom then takes them both over to the medical bay, (Which I assume we have), and proceeds to message each member about their arrival*

The Riddler sat up in his bed. Damn, he thought, that was a longer nap than I wanted to take. He stood, stretched for a moment, and walked out of the room, trying to stifle a yawn. "I'm going to Gotham to--", he started to say before Zoom's message got to him. Nigma shrugged, and thought, Why should I care?, before strolling casually to the medical bay. He sees Zoom there standing over the two unmoving forms of Parasite and Luthor, "Hey, Hunter," Nigma says, folding his arms and leaning against the door frame, "what'd I miss?" Nigma smirked, as if laughing at a private joke.
