"Wally! Why the hell are you still up here! Get the hell down to Keystone!"

"We're all going. We're going to do this and we're going to do this right."

GAK! Are those words coming out of my mouth?!

Dinah walked over to the controls as Dick talked with Ollie. She wished him luck, in every respect of the word.

"Did you do an air scan? Because the pictures I'm seeing isn't just an attack."

"Well fine then... I'm staying"

She turned to see Ollie leave.
Catching up to him she grabbed his arm, causing him to stop.
"Take care of Mia."

His eyes softened
"You know I will."

She nodded, giving him a quick smile before turning to leave, he caught her arm.

" Dinah, Be careful down there. You.." He paused and continued softly "You and Mia are all I have."

She looked up into his eyes.
"You know I'm always careful. I'll be as safe as I always am."
She gave him a smile, before hesitating and kissing his cheek.
Squeezing his hand she said "Don't read anything into that."

"I never do Pretty bird. Never do." He touched the brim of his hat and walked towards Med Bay.

Walking back into the Control room she walked over to Dick and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Don't be to hard on Ollie. Team Arrow has lost more than anyone else. Are you ready? There's a Javalin waiting for us."


OOC: That's it for me now.... and Master Bruce..Dinah's driving.

 

[Batman]

Dick gives a glare at Ollie,and puts on the cowl.

Batman costume or not,thats what hes wearing............Even though He probably doesnt even deserve the right to even look at it.

Once this is over,Hes going back to BludHaven,and Hes going to change into a nice,fresh costume of his own,first thing.

He follows the rest of the heroes,but keeps his distance from Superman,whos angry as hell.

Clarks definatley not a guy you want to mess with......

 

[The Question]

"Jordan, could you work with Constintine? He could use your former conection with the Spectre to contact him somehow."

"I don't have any connection with the Spectre! I may be all powerful, but now I'm not God's lackey."

"No way,Boy Wonder......Im taking this.You may be wearing Batman's suit,but if you think Im going to treat you with the same kind of respect....Think again.Back Seat."She said,climbing into the drivers seat.

"Fair enough."Dick said,sitting down in the seat behind her.

She had a point.....He wasnt Batman.But,then again.....what kind of respect does she show him anyway?

Dick wondered this as He heard jet engines coming to life.

[Savage]

Okay so we've got Hal sticking around the Watchtower, DESPITE having what is quite possibly the most powerful weapon in the Universe, Ollie mouthing off to Superman about his course of action, and Keystone City has become hell on earth...Can't blame him for being so pissed...I'm behind him every step of the way though.......Wwwaaaaaayyyyy behind him.

Thanks to Hal's refusal, he's had to reformulate the plan, yet again. Now we got the Titans in downtown Keystone, the birds(that's Nightwing and Black Canary) on the east side, Wonder Woman is taking the uptown, I've got the west side, and smack dab in the middle of it all is big blue himself...I think we've got everywhere covered.

We're in a hurry so once he made sure we had everything down, we (that's the superpowered dudes) blasted off. Superman and Wonder Woman flew off, I (reluctantly) teleport myself there (neat trick but takes some getting used to), and the Titans and the birds take Javalins.

So the city is covered in monsters. Big deal...We've handled worse...right?

OOC: You bet your cute little breeches I do.
Nice bunnying Although I don't like the part about not respecting Bats.
Now I'm gonna bunny you around because turns out I have an extra few minutes.

"I know.I just want him to know how hard this is gonna be without him." Dick says,walking down the halls,towards the hangar.

"He know's, but in all fairness, all he has for his 'children' is Mia."
She answered as they entered the hanger.

"Im dri..."

"No way, Boy Wonder...I'm taking this. Back Seat." She said, sliding into the drivers seat.

"Fair enough." Dick said, sitting down in the seat behind her.

She flicked switches and listened as the engines came to life.

Speaking into her comm she said "This Black Canary and.." She glanced at ***** outfit
".....Nightwing. We're ready to leave the tower for Keystone."

She waited for the 'All-clear', turning to Dick.

"When we get close to Keystone City I want you to scan the air quality."

"What do you expect to find?"

Dinah thought for a second.
"What DO I expect to find?"

"I don't know." She said flipping a few more switches.
"Maybe I've been hanging around Bruce too much."

Getting the "All-Clear" over the comm she roared the engines.

"Might want to put a seat belt on back there." She said before causing the Javalin to fly out the hanger with negative 'G's.

Steading out she flew the Javalin towards Keystone.

 

[Savage]

I'm the first one down there (Like that really needed to be said).

"Alright. Let's get down to-OH MY GOD!"

I roll out of the way, barely avoiding the frickin T-Rex that just snapped at me...Barely...Wait, that's not right.

I see this blue dot rocketing to earth when it comes to a screeching halt...Something's wrong.

"Ollie was right about one thing (for once), this really doesn't sit right," I said. "Keystone isn't the target here, it's a distraction. They're going to be heading here."

I turn to Constantine, "Do you know any spells that could keep the Watchtower secure in that department?"

"Woah, woah, mate, you're not saying that Mordu would...?" He won't admit it, but he's afraid of facing him. I can't blame him.

"It's a possibility. But all the DA members probably have something magical on them because of Mordu, can you do something that could counter-act the enchantments they might have?"

"I'll try, but, who knows what kind of magic s**t they got on them. I mean, they got f**king Mordu on their side, how can we handle that?"

"Honestly...I don't know. All I know is, we have to both help with the people going to Keystone, and we have to prepare for an attack here in the Watchtower."

"Compared to you. Haha. I figure I'll give you Leaguers the work in Keystone. Lord knows I can't take away all your responsibilities. You'd be out of a job, wouldn't you?"

*I look down at the Earth through a window*

"Though, if I didn't walk, I could clean up the mess in Keystone and be back to protect the Watchtower in a couple minutes. Naw. I'd be out of my place."

 

[Twitch]

I broke off from the line and headed for my plane, Cassie and Conner followed me in. I started up the engines and began to take off.

"You okay." Cassie asked

"Honestly I feel like ****." I replied

"We all feel devastated Tim." said Conner

"Yeah but the difference between you and me is...

I put the the plane on autopiliot and opend the door. I turned to Conner,

is that I'm the leader."

I dropped into Hell, Wally calls it Keystone City.

"Compared to you. Haha. I figure I'll give you Leaguers the work in Keystone. Lord knows I can't take away all your responsibilities. You'd be out of a job, wouldn't you?"

*I look down at the Earth through a window*

"Though, if I didn't walk, I could clean up the mess in Keystone and be back to protect the Watchtower in a couple minutes. Naw. I'd be out of my place."

"Wait, you're saying that you can help fix Keystone...and you won't?" I never really liked Hal, but right now he's on my s**t list. "And you dare call youself a 'hero?' Maybe you're just...too cowardly to go there?"

 

[The Question]

[Johnny Blaze]

"Daddy?" the Ravager spoke, decked out in full gear again as she came into the study room "I'd like to go with you and... ravage." As she spoke, Deathstroke turned towards her with hesitation, she had healed alright, but taking his daughter into the lion's den with him?

There was no greater chance of failure.
There was no greater chance of death.
It would be the perfect test.

"You'll have to ask the wizard." he said as he turned to Mordru, as did his daughter.

"Can I?"

Mordru ponders this over for a minute, before agreeing to it. “Very well.”
The Dark Lord begins putting the same spells of concealment over the Ravager. Looking into the scrying mirror, the Alliance sees the heroes filing out of the Watchtower en route to Keystone.
“Excellent. It appears your window of opportunity will soon be open.”

"Wait, you're saying that you can help fix Keystone...and you won't?" I never really liked Hal, but right now he's on my s**t list. "And you dare call youself a 'hero?' Maybe you're just...too cowardly to go there?"

"Or maybe you are. I am here to gaurd the Watchtower. What the hell are you doing, Bruce?"

 

[The Question]

"In case you haven't noticed, he's crippled."

"But are you on the level you were when you were Parallax, or the level Rayner was on when he was Ion?"

"Are you on that level? Then shut up. I'm concentrating."

*I then begin to form a bubble around the Watchtower.*

"Or maybe you are. I am here to gaurd the Watchtower. What the hell are you doing, Bruce?"

"How can you NOT see the chair, Jordan?" I yell, pointing to the wheelchair. "I'm stuck in this damn thing, while you can go out there and help. So how about you stop acting like an arrogant a*shole and go out there?"

 

[Twitch]

If you were half the Bruce Wayne you once were, you would have been out of the chair five minutes ago to fight me. I donb't care about your handicaps. You've fought White Martians, bested gods, survived trials and tribulations. You'vebeen in that chair before, Bats, and you got out of it to save your city. Now what about for the world?"

*I turn around and grin to myself.*

"Arrogant a*shole, eh?"

*I look out the window*

"Doesn't that remind you of someone, Bruce?"

*I streak out the hatch towards Keystone, dropping my emerald field around the Watchtower*

 

[Phantasm]

I shake my head at Hal and Bruce.The immaturity they are displaying is unbelievable, "Guys, quit it. The Tower is more vulnerable than ever.We need to keep our eyes and ears open!" I can't belive it's Bruce I have to say this to,of all the people I know. Giving him a frustrated glare, I turn back to monitoring the screens.

*I streak through the clouds above Coast City.*

"Ring, I need a perimter around Keystone, mile deep, two miles high, open top, no motion."

*A green force field surrounds Keystone city and cuts into the ground around it's perimeter. It appears, like a fortress wall, that extends high up into the clouds.*

"Solid epidermis, correct ring?"

~Certainly, m'lord. All calculations are in effect.~

"That's right, serf. They better be. Search for the Jonathan Crane, the man known as Scarecrow."

~Will do, Your Majesty.~

*Hal begins to descend.*

 

[Tropico]

Shade watched through the mirror. Another hero left. "I don't think it'll get better than this, Slade. This IS our window. Let us depart."- Shade said while standing next to the gas drums. He motioned Deathstroke to stand next to him as a large pitch black portal opened above them, as always when teleporting in and out of the Tower of Fate its edges were sorrounded by green flames. The portal started to lower as Slade walked to his position.
