The 'World of Heroes: DC Style" RPG Season II

“Hahahahahahahahahaha…how do you plan to stop me, Hector, when you’re trapped in your own little universe inside the Helmet?” Mordru is smiling as he stands next to the niche on the wall that hold the Helmet of Nabu.
“HA! Your friends? My dear, dear Hector…I think being stuck in that Helmet has driven you mad. How, in the Nine Hells, would your friends manage to violate this Tower? Even still, how would they enter this room? None may enter here save I. Not even my associates may enter my throne room. Really, Hector, you must…”
Mordru pauses a moment before saying, “Ah, I am terribly sorry, Hector, but it appears Deathstroke has returned with a new ally. And what kind of host would I be if I did not welcome them back?”
Mordru laughs heartily as he walks towards the door that just appeared in the far wall, and he opens it.

Standing in the main room are Deathstroke and the Shade. Mordru closes the door behind him, which promptly disappears, and strolls toward the pair. “Welcome, Shade”, Mordru says with a courteously bow, “Welcome to my Tower. I trust my colleague, Deathstroke, explained the situation to you?”

I could've sworn that Flash's phasing pretty much leads to the molecules being supercharged and exploding. Maybe this has changed recently, so somebody can be free to correct me.
OOC: I know it did, but I think he learned to control it now so whatever he phases through doesn't explode. Not entirely sure though; he may still cause stuff to go boom. Corp would know more on the matter.

OOC: I'm pretty sure that when he merged with Walter West, his Hypertime counterpart, he gained Walter's more advanced knowledge of vibration, including the ability to vibrate through things without making them explode. He wouldn't necessarily leave a hole in his wake either; he's capable of passing his own molecules entirely through solids without any ill effects to himself or the solid in question.

Blue Valley... Okay. I jumped into a window, and jumped out of a puddle in Blue Valley. What's in Nebraska? Stargirl. But Adam wouldn't, she's just a kid. Who else, Pat Dugan. And I can't stop Adam, either. It'll all be worth it though... He must've seen me, he stopped in midair and lowered himself to the ground.
Black Adam brought Mirror Master to the Dugan house. "I learned all about young Courtney during my time with the JSA. Including the fact that her stepfather was a hero himself. He has retired now, which merely means he is old... weak. The perfect means of conveying a message to the other heroes."

Black Adam knocked at the door. Courtney's stepbrother answered. "Uh... Who're you?" the young man asked.

"I am a friend of your sister's, boy."

"Well yeah, I figured you would be from that get-up. She's not here."

"Excellent. My business here is not with her, but rather her stepfather Pat Dugan. Is he in?"

"Oh, yeah. DAAAAAAAD!"

"Who is it, Michael?" Pat asked as he rounded the corner, coming to the door. His eyes widened as he saw Black Adam and Mirror Master standing in his doorway. "Michael, get away from them!" he yelled, pushing Michael aside.

"How noble of you. But I assure you, the boy was never in danger." Black Adam's arm shot out with lightning quickness and his hand clamped down on Pat's neck. "You, on the other hand..."

Adam smiled as he pulled Pat out of the house and started flying straight up. "I always abhorred people like Deathstroke. People who would kill simply for pleasure or money. I have killed, it is true, but I did so in service of my country; for the protection of its people and for my personal honor." The air thinned and Pat's breath became ragged as he struggled uselessly against Black Adam's grip. "So take solace in this fact, Pat Dugan, as you shortly begin to fall to your doom: Your death is not merely some random act of murder perpetrated by a coward or a mercenary. Your death is a declaration of war."

"Please, don't... do... this!" Pat panted as Black Adam took him so high the air was barely breathable. "I've... I've got... a family!"

Black Adam's eyes tightened in sorrow as he let Pat fall. As Pat's scream faded into obscurity below him, Teth-Adam whispered somberly: "I had a family too." After Black Adam's sensitive ears registered the twin crashes of Pat Dugan's body shattering and the roof of his house caving into a hole around him, Adam returned to Mirror Master's side.

"The deed is done; the message is sent," Black Adam said to Mirror Master above the horrified screams of Dugan's family. "Come, we must return to the Tower of Fate before others catch wind of this."

Two Face was beginning too hate the Joker. He got the coin it was heads. He punched the Joker stunning him. He then dragged him around the woods too the roads. It stank here Dogs must’ve Sh*& and died at the same time.

“Why am I doing this?” Dent said

“Because I’m back in the body Harv go too hell!” Two Face said he soon reached the police

“I- I surrender” said Dent raising his hands up in the air

“Harvey Dent you are under arrest you have the right too remain silent every thing you say can and will be held against you!” The officer said

The Joker, lying on the ground, looked up.

"What are you doing, you moron!? You're going to get us both put in jail!"

The cop was getting closer.

"Aren't you forgetting something, Harv? Your coin, you need to flip your coin! Either you surrender, or you kill this punk cop. Let the coin decide!"

I wasn't that upset. I didn't know him, I didn't kill him. I felt sorry for Pat's family, but there's no time for that. Suck it up, soldier, you've got work to do.
"Excellent choice, though. Low-level retired hero in a state with no big guns." I asked how we're going, does he carry me or do I ride a reflective surface...

Two face flipped it was decided he grinned at Joker

“Don’t worry Clown it’ll be all right!” Two Face said they we’re then put in the back of the car

Two Face and Joker rid at the back seat Two Face kept on checking for the other cops too break free and be alone.

It took awhile for it too happen but it did Two Face soon removed his cuffs something he knew NOW!

Two Face got his gun he shot two, one at the caged bit, and the other at a cop.

“ BANZHAI! Two face said as he went too the drivers seath removing the cop and throwing him out the window. Taking the window two Face drove but the other cop had him at gun point.

“JOKER NOW!”

"Heh heh, who's to say I don't just let this cop shoot you, Harv? Or maybe I could help you. I don't need a little coin to help me make my decisions, HA HA!"

With a flick of the hand, The Joker threw a razor-sharp playing card though the hole in the cage. It slit the other cop's throat. He gasped and sputtered, dropping the gun. The Joker scrambled through the opening Two-Face had crawled through, grabbing the gun and opening the door on the passenger side, letting thew dying cop tumble out.

"And here's a little extra for good measure! HA HA!", The Joker shouted out mockingly at the cop, firing a bullet into him as they drove away.

Slamming the door closed, he turned round to face Two-Face.

"Okay, Harv, let's go to The Iceberg Lounge!"

"Just stand still." Black Adam placed his hand on Mirror Master's shoulder and concentrated on Fate's Tower. The green stone transported them instantly. "Mordru, Deathstroke; I have brought another member to our Dark Alliance. I give you Mirror Master."

"Sorry again for having to look you up in Blüdhaven there Shade, but it was the quickest way of getting to you. You'll have to excuse the accomadations here though. They are not always top notch. Make yourself comfortable nonetheless."

"Thank you, Wilson. Do not concern yourself with the accomodations, they are quite...comfortable. You could say even preferable to some modern arrangement. I knew accepting your offer would eventually get my heart racing but not in this manner! The books, the art, the furniture and the ambiance...if my heart didn't already belong to Opal I think this would be an enviable substitute."- he said as he paced the room and admired the knick knacks in it. He turned around as he suddenly felt a disturbance.

As for the situation...my curt recruiter was very brief. Something about culling the chaff from the wheat...hero-wise." Shade stopped his pacing and sat down in a plush chair with a small table beside it. There was an exquisite tea set on it and Shade let his cane rest pointing at it in an obvious fashion. "But I'm sure we can discuss the details in a more...civilized manner. Wouldn't you agree?"- said the Shade as he rested back on the chair, his hands were entwined near his face in such a manner as to slightly hide his smile. He had decided that he would be part of this group and that he would do it in fine fashion, even if he had to teach it to them.

Another greenish rippling effect disturbed the air as Black Adam and another man appeared in the tower.

"Not a bad idea."

Black Adam headed through the door that led back to the Earth dimension and began flying around. He landed in many of the major cities. He spotted Deathstroke and the Shade talking in Bludhaven but left them to their own business. He passed through Star City and the newly rebuilt Coast City, but neither had anything going on. He swung by New York, but that was relatively quiet as well. It seemed as if the whole villain world had gone to sleep on him until he came to Metrpolis. He was surprised that Superman didn't stop him as he flew through the city; he'd heard that most villains couldn't last two minutes in Metropolis without Superman spotting them. He stopped at the Daily Planet as something on one of its news monitors caught his eye. Apparently there was some kind of trouble going on in Keystone City.

Black Adam made his way to Keystone City where he finally found something going on. He dropped from the sky to a hover about 15 feet off the ground and watched the tail end of Mirror Master's bank robbery. Odd, Mirror Master was supposed to be one of the best, but he seemed off his game; you'd almost think he'd never even robbed a bank before. The Flash must have been out of the city at the moment, Black Adam reasoned, or he would have noticed this. As Mirror Master turned to run out of the bank, he stopped short as he saw Black Adam.

"Mirror Master, I presume. I have a proposition for you..."

OOC: Just in case you were wondering, rigel, that's you as Mirror Master, not the real one. :)
OOC: Daily Planet was destroyed until Bruce Wayne builds another one.

Before he can really begin though, a green doorway appears, and Mordru turns to see the return of Black Adam…and another associate.
“Well, I see you were successful in your recruitment, Teth-Adam. And who is this with you? He looks vaguely familiar”, Mordru asks inquisitively as he stares at the Mirror Master.

After hearing the introduction of Mirror Master, Mordru says, “Well, Mirror Master, it is a pleasure for you to join us. I was just filling in our other recent ally, the Shade”, Mordru motions to the man sitting next to him, “on our mission.”
The Dark Lord rises to his feet, and motions the Mirror Master to sit down.

Woah. This is the big time, isn't it. Heh. I thought I was supposed to be the master. Shade... you can kill him with light, right? I hoped the Elongated Man and the Vigilante make it to John soon, I'm going to need backup. Mordru... It seems as though he has hijacked the Society. I doubt Adam will go along with this. No... they might have gotten me to recruit other Rogues. There will always be time for worrying later, though.

"Mordru. Pleasure's all mine. So... what are we doin' now?"

The Parasite lay back in his super king-sized bed. He reached to his mouth with a cigar and took several strong puffs. He blew a cloud of smoke from his mouth and reached to the bedside table for his enormous glass of champagne and drew a long swig. He had won his second fight and had recieved an unbelievable amount of money for it. The crowds had roarded his name as he cashed in at the casino.

"Ahhh... so good to be livin' the sweet life, huh?" asked Rudy as he turned over in his bed to face Killer Frost.

Frost drank from her own regular sized glass of champagne and looked at Rudy. "It sure is, Mr. Jones," she answered seductively.

Rudy smiled to himself. He considered himself to be very lucky that Killer Frost would be turned on by playfully kicking the crap out of each other. He grinned at the thought of being on a secret mission for the government and also getting busy at the same time. He felt like James Bond!

Frost put her glass down on her bedside table and rolled over to Parasite. "We're pretty damn lucky that you're a shape-shifter."

As the Mirror Master sits, Mordru touches on the purpose of the Dark Alliance, “The goal of our little band is quite simple: the utter annihilation of every hero on the face of the planet!”
Mordru walks around the table were the two newest members sit, “They act as gods policing the world, forcing everyone one the planet to conform to their ideals. Those that do not conform, they deal with violently. They call themselves heroes…”, Mordru stops his pacing and laughs, “HA! They are nothing more than charlatans, deceivers.”
Mordru turns to look at Adam, “And the destruction of Khandaq is the final straw. We will take no more. Make no mistake, gentlemen, this is a war. And it is time for us to strike back, with more viciousness than we ever have before.”

The Shade coughed when Mirror Master started speaking. He looked at him intently, a queer little smile playing on his lips. As they sat down to talk and Mordru conjured up some libations for the occasion. Shade poured some sherry into a flute and looked at Mirror Master intently again.

Shade9.jpg

"The Flash."- he had said simply, after Mordru made his war declaration, as he stared at Mirror Master. The blank stares elicited talk from Shade again-"The Flash. You're one of his arch rivals, like I used to be. Like I will probably be."-he said as he smiled into the flute and took a sip of the sherry. "I hope that doesn't create some...friction between us. My interest is in the Hermes inspired one, if it's all the same to you since the smart one is no longer with us."

Without looking away from Mirror Master Shade spoke again-"Mordru, I commend you for your ambition; but you must realize that what you suggest is tantamount to suicide, let alone a that things would be left in a bit of a chaotic state. What does the former ruler of Khandaq say, even with the fires stoked high in his belly and vengeance ringing in his ears?"

"The soon-to-be future leader of Khandaq," Black Adam replies hotly, "says that the pieces are already in place. I have sent the heroes a message of our intentions. Before I returned, I killed Pat Dugan, a retired hero with ties to the JSA."

Mordru smiles as he hears Adam's news, “Excellent. So the first shot has been fired.”
Mordru turns to face the whole group, “So, as such, I propose we move to bigger game.”
Mordru leans over the table, and, with a wave of his hand, conjures up an image of Captain Marvel Junior and Jade in it's center. “Captain Marvel Jr and Jade. Both are experienced heroes, and they shall be the first of the self rightious to fall to our collective might.”
The images disappear, and Mordru rises, “I propose that Deathstroke and I go after Jade, while Black Adam, Mirror Master and the Shade kill Marvel Junior.”

Shade7.jpg

"My word! THAT hardly seems sporting. Well, I agree that it would be best to have back ups, in case something goes awry."- Shade says as he finishes the last of the sherry. "Mmmm, shall we be off then?"

"I suppose we shall. Where is tha lad? Fawcett City, likely. Wait... I don't suppose we could ambush him in his civilian ID? That would suit me just fine. You would be an authority on the subject, Adam, so yer opinion would be welcome..."

"This is true. McCulloch could quite easily take care of the boy on his own. Just make sure he doesn't get to say his magic word." Deathstroke said as he approached the Mirror Master "He'll be in Fawcett alright, goes by the name of Freddy Freeman." Giving an evil grin he returned to Mordru's side.

"I've got friends in high places... Shall we go Mordru?"

Damn. Damn it all to Hell, I have to kill Captain Marvel Junior. I'm a Doctor, I can't... Fine. It'll be worth it. "Alright, I'm off. I'll bring you tha head. Ye have a bathroom in this place? I'll need a mirror..." I'll use the freeze gun, nobody will know...

Em and Vigilante made it to Scott Free's house. They explained everything to John. He'll be ready. Mr. Miracle and Barda won't take this lightly either.
