So I didn't order or watch Summerslam last night but I am glad to hear Brock has the titles and not a predictable super Cena win last night. Also, that AJ and Paige Gif needs to be quoted and repost here as many times as possible! Steph also looked good in her ring attire and the Nikki heel turn was obvious. But it seems overall, Summerslam was pretty decent.

There have been a lot of rumors going around of Vince McMahon and Triple H “butting heads” creatively, including who to have Brock Lesnar face at WrestleMania 31. The rumor is that Vince wants The Rock vs. Lesnar while Triple H wants Roman Reigns vs. Lesnar.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there is certainly word going around WWE that Vince sometimes undercuts Triple H and makes him look bad but it could be a case of the “good cop/bad cop” dynamic. Meltzer noted that he doesn’t sense any strong negative feelings between the two.

Interesting...

I would much rather see Cesaro/Lesnar at Mania, but seriously Reigns/Lesnar>>>>.Rock/Lesnar.

Quoting just because.

With Cena getting a beat down like he did from Brock, this would be an ideal time to FINALLY turn Cena heel. He could mention how fans enjoyed seeing him get beat down, always bashing wrestling skills etc. His girlfriend is already turned heel might as well join her and the Authority. Would be a pretty awesome story arch much like Hogan turning heel. But since kids love Cena and he pretty much is the face of the WWE they won't have the stones to do something like that in this PG era.

I put that in the gif thread, too ;)

I actually hope Cena doesn't do much on Raw.. Sell his damn beat down... Hell maybe he should actually say how he fears Lesnar or something. I do not want tough guy Cena coming out and demanding a rematch.. I don't want golly gee Cena saying how he got a thumping.. I want, if anything, a humble Cena that second guesses himself and decides to not go after the title again..

Some of this, but your scenario takes it too far. Cena was beaten, he wasn't castrated.

Cena needs to be beaten, maybe a little shaken, but still defiant and strong. Storyline-wise, a man who has achieved what Cena has achieved doesn't get scared away from a challenge just because he got his ass whupped.

I would imagine a Undertaker rematch would be fitting way for Taker to win and retire a champ at Wrestlemania...I guess though that may not seem likely

Yeah I don't get that at all. Why would you build up Brock to have him lose to a guy that's going to retire?

Maybe scared isn't the word I should have used.. I'm just so tired if Cena's post loss promo's and attitude.

It's sad that I think we all think the same exact thing every time Cena loses. Haha.. Maybe one day it will happen.. But seriously hearing the reports of the fans singing goodbye to Cena as he was being helped to the back would be perfect reasoning. It's not gonna happen tho.

AND who had his Streak broken by that same guy? Really not understanding the 50/50 booking logic.

True sign is true.

The guy gave us everything he had for years and couldn't take the bull**** and physical toll anymore. And he helped us avoid a Batista title win at Wrestlemania. It sucks but that's the way it is.

Him leaving gave Bryan his Wrestlemania moment....twice.

It is, and it isn't.

He had very good reasons for leaving, and he had zero obligation to us to stay.

Just because he wasn't obligated to stay, doesn't change the fact that he quit. And I highly doubt that "I'm not getting my way" would be considered a very good reason for someone who wasn't an IWC darling. If it was someone like Randy Orton or Sheamus fans would rip them.

But honestly me liking that sign has nothing to do with Punk really. It is his life. It's just a nice counter response to those that nonsensically chat for Punk during shows. That's always been silly due to these fact that Punk walked away. It would have totally made sense this whole time if Punk had been fired.

I think that had to do more with the fans being solidly behind Bryan and refusing not to be, and significantly less with Punk sitting at home.
