The WWE is going to take a massive ratings hit in the next few weeks, which will lead to one of Vince's daily rages of anger.

Watching Smackdown right now. This is how you build Miz up, put him in there with a guy like Christian. That is what is going help him became better. Hopefully Miz feuds with Rey after he's done with Christian.

I'm not a Miz fan, but if Vince is committed to the guy, then that is how you get him to evolve as a wrestler.

I am a Miz fan. I'd say I'm easily his second biggest fan in this thread behind Nel. I'm glad to see him as a triple crown winner, and AntMan I agree with you wholeheartedly. Mysterio in his matches with Miz has proven to be his best opponent and get the best matches out of him. Christian will get good matches out of him, and the promos should be gold if the rivalry continues.

I still pray for Christian to get one solid run as WHC as a face. :(

It's funny but, my biggest worry about next year's WrestleMania is the fact that it's in an OUTDOOR football stadium in The Meadowlands, in April. The chances of it being cold and rainy are pretty good. In fact, that's exactly what the weather was like there during this past WrestleMania. I can only wonder what they would do if the weather didn't cooperate.

The show must go on, I'd think Vince would agree to this, unless there is lightning or high winds. I think it'd be cool seeing a wrestling match in the rain or snow.

If it's a success, then I'd like them to consider Soldier Field here in Chicago for a future Wrestlemania.

Caught up on Impact and damn that Kenny King is pretty impressive with his athleticism, maybe even more impressive than Shelton.

I remember in 2006 seeing Kenny at and FIP show here in Orlando, FL. There was about 16 of us in the crowd and the crowd didn't react much to many of the people in the first few matches. When Kenny came out though me and my five friends stood up and started chanting "King of Kings" (Triple H had been harping that as his nickname for a little while by now). Kenny kept pointing to our little section and he was clearly happy to have some support and a new nick name to boot. Happy to see he's doing something on a grander scale now, I'd love to see him get the opportunities he deserves.

Agreed!

I've been avoiding this thread like the plague due to being behind, but now that I have caught up on WWE and TNA, I am back.

Raw 1000 sucked for the most part.

Rock could always lose at RR then show up again during the Rumble match and win it. Cena then wins the title at EC and bam theres your Rock vs Cena part 2. Something we're all counting down the days to.

I don't think that would work as Rock will win the title as he said he would.

Jim Ross has recently updated his Q&A section on JrBarBq.com. Here are a few highlights.

The differences with wrestling companies: Leadership, resources, infrastructure, networks, upper management.

Who he would like to see face The Rock at the 2013 Royal Rumble: CM Punk.

If MMA should be an Olympic sport: Personally, I'd love it.

His personal dream match: Undertaker vs Lesnar for one. Rock vs HBK. Cena vs Austin. Rock vs Undertaker.

Thoughts on the Undertaker and Kane reunion on Raw 1000th: Enjoyed the nostalgia...likely a one off deal I'm guessing.

Thoughts on the current WWE product: I'd personally enjoy seeing more athletic skills featured, more physicality and drama.

Favorite WWE Diva: Actually several that I like specifically the ones w/ solid, in ring skills.

Chances of Mae Young's son, the hand, becoming WWE champion by the end of 2012? About as good as your's or mine...highly unlikely.

Type of match which are hardest to call: Royal Rumble was the most challenging bout to call or a cold bout between two guys phoning it in.

As big of an MMA fan as I am, I have to respectfully disagree with Jim Ross in regards to MMA being an Olympic sport.

Your saying you'd like to see Rock vs HBK or there's rumors about a possible match??,Don't me get excited since this has been a dream match&feud for me since the Attitude Era!

Read above. JR says it's one of his dream matches. IT'll never happen.

Oh well:(,I guess I'll just have to keep playing that dream match in games,I already have an Attitude Era storyline planned to make in Story Creator for WWE'13

Just watched Smackdown. Man I can't wait for this Y2J/Ziggler feud. These guys are gonna have some match of the year type stuff.

Lmao, this is great. Sheik is just hilariously insane, and the interviewer clearly had no idea what he was getting into.

The best parts are the editors reactions

How would Hulk Hogan do against the current Olympic team?
Hulk Hogan don’t last long like because [a few expletives] he not a real man like the Sheiky baby. He get beat bad like [wow... not printing that] and never make it to Olympics. Only for the Olympics for being [or that]. [editors note: He definitely hates Hogan.]

According to Vince he has "more money than god" so maybe he can bribe mother nature. If not there will probably be an overhead designed for the ring and fans will get soaked.

The Rock winning the WWE Title at The Royal Rumble poses an interesting conundrum for Elimination Chamber, especially if a Raw guy wins the Rumble match. There is absolutely no way in hell that The Rock's "Hollywood People" will allow him to compete in the Chamber match, so that eliminates any title defense from him until WM 29. If a Raw guy was to win the Rumble, he automatically becomes the #1 contender, basically leaving Raw without a Chamber match.

That's why I think a Smackdown guy is going to win the Rumble, or the Raw guy who wins chooses instead to go after the World Championship. Either way would mean a Raw #1 Contenders Elimination Chamber to face the Rock at WM 29 for the WWE Title. Of course, the Smackdown Chamber could be for the WHC.

Rock winning the title at Royal Rumble seems too obvious. I doubt there will be a twist but it would be interesting to see them go in a different direction. There would have to be a really good idea behind it for Rock to agree to losing.
Also I don't see Rock doing the Elimination Chamber match but he should appear at the PPV in some capacity. They could always create some b.s. scenario if they want to move the pieces. I remember Batista's random title shot and win leading into WM 26.

I just saw the music video for Insane Clown Posse's "Chris Benoit". ugh... The song is actually worse than I would of imagined.

I would say he's my favorite Tough Enough alumni, and I really need to watch Smackdown and Impact.I'm so behind.

Hard not to feel JR's "choices" conveniently fit the WWE booking bill, 2 of the 4 are on tap for Taker at Mania and Cena vs Austin won that videogame vote thing. I mean how can matches that already happened on multiple PPV's be dream matches?
