The whole damn world wants to look like me...

I just got back from a short vacation, so here are my belated WM thoughts:

The Undercard:

I still don't understand what the crowds see in Ryback. His match with Henry was forgettable, and the last thing I wanted to see was a Ryback-Cena feud.

Fandango is strangely over, and he has some potential in the ring. He needs to hone his skills, however, because he stiffed Y2J a couple of times.

Del Rio-Swagger was adequate, but that's about it.

CM Punk vs The Undertaker

Match of the night. Taker was blown up after the match, and that made me admire his effort during the match. The same goes for the ailing BITW. I still think Punk should have won, but the match had some original spots and twists.

Lesnar vs The Great and Powerful Schnozz

Much, much better than I expected. It wasn't the most athletic display, but it was physical and told a solid story. The end was nicely done, too.

Rock vs Cena

Rock was in better cardiovascular shape, but it didn't help the match. It was still just decent, which shouldn't happen in the WM ME. Cena proved once again that he's a main eventer via default. That endless headlock in the middle of the match killed its momentum. Rock has lost some of the crispness he had in his 20s (understandable) and he lacks chemistry with Cena. If there is never a rubber match between the two, I certainly won't mind.

Overall rating for the PPV: 6/10.

I actually thought Langston's promo on Main Event was pretty good. He's fast and and strong as well. He needs a new finisher though. I suggest The Pounce since he reminds me of Monty Brown.

On the Old School Raw they did a few months back, did any of the current guys come out using their old gimmicks? That would be great.

The current plan is for Kane and Daniel Bryan to defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against two members of The Shield, likely at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. It’s expected this is where Kane and Bryan will drop the titles.

If this leads to Daniel Bryan's next big singles Push then I'm definitely happy

- It’s said that the top three WWE NXT wrestlers who are close to being called up to WWE’s main roster are Bray Wyatt, Kassius Ohno and Adrian Neville, the former Pac.

All of these guys would benefit the main roster IMO. Especially if they dont disappear off TV like Bo Dallas lol.

Is NXT actually on tv (they replaced ECW with that, right?), or is it online? I am so far out of the loop with programming that I only know the time and channel for Raw and that something comes on ION (my wife watches Numbers a lot, so I see commercials sometimes).

WWE doesn't air NXT in the USA anymore, so American fans have to use other means to watch it.

Move to Canada, we get NXT as a regular TV show up here!

Ah, thank you. I will probably start watching Raw more now. I honestly don't know if I will be able to fit in another wrestling show, though, so I might miss out on SD, even though that brand seems to have quite a few people I enjoy (or does that really even matter anymore? It seems like in the weeks leading up to and right after WM, the rosters are all pushed together).

For all you Rob Conway fans out there... :oldrazz:

I always thought it was Randy Newman who sung in this. :D

Mick Foley brought back his Dude Love character and danced with Brodus Clay.

On the 2010 Old School RAW special Mark Henry came out in to his Sexual Chocolate theme and regalia.

So who do you guys think will take out The Shield? I kinda figured Brothers of Destruction + Bryan might would end them, but it seems like that was a tease and nothing more. Even then, I kinda feel like The Shield would have beaten them. Maybe a new stable from NXT will come out and take them out? I kinda don't want to see them split up and do at the same time. Can't wait to see how they develop after they split. I can see Rollins being a face (He has that "Edge" cool factor, IMO.) and Reigns & Ambrose being heels.

While I'm enjoying the Shield, I too am intrigued to see how they fair once they split.

Dean Ambrose will be awesome; he will likely be the guy who fills the roles once played by guys like Edge, Orton and Savage.

Roman Reigns has a great look, we'll see how it translates if he's on his own. A lot of big muscular guys have gone nowhere in the WWE and were otherwise forgettable: see Chris Masters, Nathan Jones, Luther Reigns, Shad Gaspard, etc.

Seth Rollins is the big question mark. From what I can see he's the best pure wrestler among them, but he's small and he really, really looks too much like CM Punk. He might be the most in danger of either having Justin Gabriel/Tyson Kidd status, or finding himself working in TNA (which would be amazing probably, but not as good for his career).

Yeah, Ambrose is the one I'm most looking forward to seeing, the guy has 'It'. Antman was damn right about all of the hype.

Reigns, I think will be ok, he's probably got the best chance of the three at being pushed by the company to be a top guy, but like you say it doesn't always work out.

I actually see Rollins doing very well and going far. Though I think he may have to force his way through a la Punk, Bryan and Ziggler, for example.

god, they had no chemistry at all

Anyone else think- to get Ryback over they are going to have him feud with Cena? Ryback doesn't seem to be getting the older crowd behind him, and the older crowd hates Cena. I highly think that they have them feuding because people wanna see Cena get destroyed and they will get behind Ryback.

He had a huge pop when he took out Cena with the smark crowd.
