What exactly went wrong in that match between Orton and Reigns?,I man what did Orton do?,A report by someone says it was a fun brawl

I hope TNA finds a new home or else they'll be history,Unless they do online shows and ppvs like ROH

Sounds like the complaint was that Orton would slow down the pace of the match, and therefore "kill" the crowd reaction, by locking Reigns in headlocks/rest holds for extended periods of time in the middle of the action.

It is kind of sad when your show gets cancelled because its content no longer measures up to the exacting standards of Spike TV.

Spike TV has Cops, and Cops is one of the greatest shows ever.

Getting cancelled by Spike does suck,I hope they find a way to pull through though...although I would smirk seeing the TNA library on the wwe network

TNA-SPIKE TV UPDATE
By Dave Scherer on 2014-07-28 13:34:56

TMZ reported earlier that Spike TV has broken off negotiations with TNA and would not be carrying Impact after the current contract expired in October.

Dixie Carter just tweeted the following in response to the story:

"Negotiations with @SpikeTV are ongoing. Stay tuned and be sure to tune in this Thursday night for Ultimate X on #ImpactOnSpike!!"

Obviously, she is refuting the TMZ story, which you can read below.
Also, TNA executive Bob Ryder tweeted:

"Reports are not true. Negotiations with @SpikeTV are ongoing."

TMZ.com is reporting that sources have informed them that Spike quietly canceled TNA Impact Wrestling "last week" and that TNA is looking for a new potential home for their series.

PWInsider.com has not independently confirmed that story but has reached out to sources within Spike and TNA requesting confirmation on the report. That said, the rumors regarding that status have been quietly making the rounds for several weeks.

I do know that several weeks ago, TNA was still negotiating with Spike. There is also a version of the story floating around that Dixie Carter informed TNA staff of the cancellation at a meeting earlier this week. While there was indeed a staff meeting on Wednesday 7/23, I am told nothing of the sort was stated and that the majority of it was discussion of strategies for the next three weeks of TV promotion.

TNA debuted on Spike on 10/1/05 as a one hour late-night series before expanding into a two hour series that eventually moved to a prime-time timeslot.

TNA's current deal takes them through October. Those episodes will be taped the first week of August at the Manhattan Center in NYC. This past Thursday's episode was the highest audience for the series since April of this year.

Either they are saving face or they are damn lucky

It's possible that cancellation is just a "trial balloon" leaked out deliberately to help soft-pedal a new deal with Spike that is less favourable. That the WWE is getting major heat for an unfavourable TV deal might indicate that the wrestling industry itself as a TV property is in a downturn, so what impacted WWE's deal might also impact TNA.

Spike released the messages I think, they probably havent told TNA yet

I can't believe how so many on the internet are acting so happy about the TNA cancellation. This is not good news for wrestling, even if TNA has been a subpar product for so long.

This. I've barely watched since AJ Styles left, but the possibility of only one wrestling company on national tv is not a good thing. I hope they find another tv home (or things work out with Spike), just as I hope Sinclair provides better distribution for ROH and Jarrett secures a good tv deal for Global. The more options for the wrestlers as workers and us as fans, the better.

So I just applied for a job with WWE Studios as an administrative assistant. There was an opening earlier this week for a spot with NXT as talent relations, but that must have been filled as the listing was quickly pulled.

When I was young it used to be my dream to work for the WWF, so I thought "Hey why not send my resume?"

Good luck with that. Although if you get the job, you will probably have to no longer make posts here.

I will, I'll just be a plant endlessly defending everything they do :oldrazz:

But seriously, Thank you. Hopefully they make more movies like the The Call and less The Chaperone's.

Good luck. I hope all the nasty rumours of working for the WWE aren't true.

I wouldn't want to hear you got choke slammed through a table by Vince because you didn't send a memo :cwink:

IT'S NOT JUST TNA DENYING TMZ'S STORY - UPDATED 1:56 PM
By Mike Johnson and Dave Scherer on 2014-07-28 13:56:56

PWinsider.com asked representatives at Viacom, parent company of SpikeTV, for comment on the TMZ story that they had decided not to renew TNA Impact. We were told:

"Per Viacom company policy - we don’t comment on ongoing negotiations."
Obviously, that would mean they are still in negotiations with TNA.;
1:34 PM update.

Lobo will end up being used as "road beef" by Stephanie McMahon.

I'm the only guy here not into her. She looks too much like her dad to, me. :csad:

For me she's average other than her chest.

- Last Friday, Daniel Bryan and his wife, Brie Bella, arrived at their home in Phoenix, Arizona, to find two burglars attempting to break in. The WWE Superstar caught one of the burglars and held him in a rear naked chokehold until police arrived, but the second burglar managed to escape. Within WWE, there has been some thought given to turning this real-life incident into a storyline.
Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com revealed on Sunday's Wrestling Observer Live (audio available here) that someone in WWE made a suggestion for an angle where it comes out that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon sent people to Bryan's house to rob him.

- Brittney Savage, AJ Lee's tag team partner when she was starting out her wrestling career on the New Jersey independent scene, returned to action following an eighteen month layoff on Saturday at United States Wrestling Alliance's "Red, White & Bruised III" event in Jacksonville, Florida. She lost to Santana Garrett (known as Brittany in TNA).
