So you know the TV channel that keeps you afloat hates someone because they find his writing distasteful and even banned you from airing male-on-female violence, you know your deal with them is set to expire and you want to remain partners with them, so you secretly hire this person that they hate while angles and swerves that are his hallmarks land all over your programming WHILE lying to your wrestlers as well and tell them he's not working for you, while their morale is already low and expect to still get a TV deal and stay in business?

On a serious note, I feel terrible for everyone who's about to be out of a job within the next 4 months.

That said I don't think there's anyone who didn't see this coming. TNA as been on a steep downward slope for the past 3-4 years.

I'm happy for those who got out before it was too late, and found employment elsewhere. And I hope that those still with the company can get employment elsewhere, sooner rather than later.

But yeah, there's no one to blame for this except Dixie Carter, and the rest of TNA's idiotic management

According to F4WOnline.com, Dixie Carter seemed to give the impression to TNA Wrestling employees sometime last week that the company would be leaving SpikeTV on its own accord due to lack of promotion. However, other sources have claimed that’s not the case, and confirmed reports of SpikeTV telling TNA it would not be renewing its TV deal.

The decision reportedly came a few days after SpikeTV found out that Vince Russo was still working for TNA Wrestling in a consultant capacity, and apparently Spike has had issues with Russo in the past and made it clear to TNA they wanted nothing to do with him.

As we reported earlier today, several negative fan reviews surfaced online of the Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton WWE live event matches which took place over the weekend.

WZ has learned from WWE sources there is enormous heat internally on Randy Orton for what many members of the locker room perceive to be a “crowd killing” style against Roman Reigns during the WWE house shows this weekend.

Several of the wrestlers in WWE, seeing payoffs down and just getting paid for WrestleMania, are worried Orton may be slowing down Roman’s progress to the top, where a new babyface star is needed since John Cena can’t be expected to carry the entire load, and Daniel Bryan’s future is uncertain with his nerve damage and possible need for a second surgery. “If Roman’s the guy, then Roman’s the guy,” one WWE Superstar said.

“Whoever is the guy, we need to get this guy over bigger than ever, not hold him down in rest holds and hope no one gets hurt. We’re in the wrestling business, Bumps and bruises happen.”

I'm shocked that TNA lasted so long; it seemed to be moribund in 2011.

This is not something I'm happy about. The WWE Network is failing and TNA is going under. This is not a good time for American wrestling.

Even though I had given up on TNA years ago, I agree that this is sad. There was a time when I hoped TNA would become the fresh alternative to WWE. Now it's taking its last breaths and WWE is in a perpetual tailspin. The idea of no pro wrestling on TV is a terrible prospect.
