I would hate to see another wrestling company go away.If TNA did it would be cool if they sold the tape library to GFW rather than WWE.

Glad TNA and SpikeTV came out and admit that negotiations are still ongoing. TMZ have jumped the gun too soon here.

So I saw a report online that apparently we can blame TNA's cancellation on Russo, because Spike execs hate him and the fact that he was working with TNA was never supposed to get out.

I'm the only guy here not into her. She looks too much like her dad to, me. :csad:

For me she's average other than her chest.

Emma on the other hand :hrt:

I'm not into Steph either, if that helps. Her really weird cleavage while being escorted out last week didn't help matters.

- Randy Orton posted a rare tweet to hype tonight's WWE RAW from Houston:
"I don't say this kind of stuff often, but you can count on #TheViper striking tonight. Period. #RAW"

- New WWE talent Prince Devitt was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando today. NXT referee Shawn Bennett tweeted that everyone was excited about Devitt's arrival.

- Mick Foley has a new Facebook blog where he talks about The Miz. Here's part of what he wrote:

"With that being said, I'm enjoying this new, rejuvanated #Miz. He seems to have some of that old swagger and confidence back - and I think last week's match with Dolph Ziggler opened some eyes as to what he's capable of inside the ring. He's at-home on guest commentary - no easy feat, and his selling of the feigned Ziggler kick was priceless, and made his post-match aggression all the more effective.

"Remember, this was a guy I thought enough of to make the lead character in my Christmas book - and that's not a decision I make easily! All you need do is look at that photo of Miz with Santa to know that he's absolutely cut out to be a bad guy. That babyface run never did seem like a comfortable fit. Here's to a nice run by the Miz - and some great Miz/Ziggler matches along the way. I think this match has the potential to steal the show at #Summerslam."

Spike TV drops TNA a mere few days after they discover Vince Russo is still there? As someone who kinda works in the business (and I do stress kinda), I hope the last TNA show ever is the last time Russo and Dixie Carter are ever involved in wrestling again. Good riddance.

Breaking news: Dixie Carter and Vince Russo buy an Arizona-based independent wrestling promotion.

Source: F4WOnline

Last Friday, Daniel Bryan and his wife, Brie Bella, arrived at their home in Phoenix, Arizona, to find two burglars attempting to break in. The WWE Superstar caught one of the burglars and held him in a rear naked chokehold until police arrived, but the second burglar managed to escape. Within WWE, there has been some thought given to turning this real-life incident into a storyline.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com revealed on Sunday's Wrestling Observer Live that someone in WWE made a suggestion for an angle where it comes out that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon sent people to Bryan's house to rob him.

Hopefully, this conversation didn't last very long.

Late Sunday night, news broke that Spike TV has canceled TNA Impact Wrestling and will not be renewing their TV deal, which expires in October.

As noted earlier, TNA President Dixie Carter held a major company meeting on Friday and dropped the bombshell news on her staff. According to sources close to the situation, she attempted to spin the situation in her favor, saying that TNA decided to leave Spike TV because they failed to promote the company effectively. While she might have a point there, all indications are that Viacom and Spike TV made the decision to end their relationship with TNA for a variety of factors.

Spike's decision to not renew TNA's TV deal was made immediately after news of Vince Russo working for TNA became public. It was rumored for months that Russo was working as a consultant for the company, which he and TNA vehemently denied. Earlier this month, Vince Russo inadvertently CC'd Mike Johnson on an internal email intended for Taz and Mike Tenay, essentially confirming that he was in fact working for TNA.

There were many reasons that TNA did not want that knowledge made public. First, Russo's reputation speaks for itself and the majority of wrestling fans would not have a lot of faith in TNA's decision to rehire one of the most infamous and controversial writers in the industry. There was also an issue of TNA's relationship with The Great Muta and his Japanese Wrestle-1 promotion, which currently has a partnership with TNA. Muta has very negative feelings about Vince Russo due to his negative portrayal of Japanese wrestlers over the years. It's believed that he was assured Vince Russo was not working for TNA when he agreed to partner with TNA and host Bound For Glory in Japan later this year.

However, the main reason TNA did not want Russo's involvement made public was because Spike TV executives despise him. There are a number of reasons Spike did not want anything to do with Russo, many of them related to the type of programming Russo presented during his previous run with the company.

TNA is obviously in a very bad spot right now. With just two months before Impact Wrestling is dropped from Spike TV, there is not a lot of time for them to find another cable network willing to pick them up. Additionally, it's highly unlikely they will be able to negotiate a new contract that will earn them anything close to what they were getting from Spike. TNA's current International TV deals are not lucrative enough to keep the company going and the company will have a very hard time doing live shows in the Untied States without a national TV clearance.

Perhaps Hulk Hogan, RVD and Sting saw the writing on the wall and went to the WWE....or as Hogan likes to call it "Home, brother!"

Hopefully, this conversation didn't last very long.

I would be in tears of laughter if that storyline happened.

So I just applied for a job with WWE Studios as an administrative assistant. There was an opening earlier this week for a spot with NXT as talent relations, but that must have been filled as the listing was quickly pulled.

When I was young it used to be my dream to work for the WWF, so I thought "Hey why not send my resume?"

I may do that too. It'd be cool to have the Wrestling Thread write the wrestling! :awesome:

I will quit AWF if Russo or Dixie ever got near it!!

:o

Poles, poles everywhere! The posts are poles, the ropes are poles, the mats are poles! What's that? The crowd's hanging from the rafters. Wrong, they're hanging from poles!

Now excuse me, I'm about to watch Shibata kick Benjamin's head in.

I would hate to see another wrestling company go away.If TNA did it would be cool if they sold the tape library to GFW rather than WWE.

How so?,You would only be able to see footage of their library on dvd and online with the production values not that great(possibly better than TNA's though),Yes another promotion going out and getting literally owned by wwe always sucks but they will be given enough justice as far as their library footage goes.

People like to talk **** about the wwe network but for those like me who actually own it and experience it often know that having TNA on there would be great, not just all ppvs and some shows but featured on countdown and other specials,A new Legends of Wrestling episode can finally be made and this would be a great topic for a new episode,Oh yeah TNA stuff in the video games!

No, GFW should get the TNA footage because Jeff Jarrett created TNA.
