- Since SummerSlam, the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar rematch has been speculated for WWE's Survivor Series and Hell in a Cell pay-per-views.

Now The Wrestling Observer reports that word coming out of RAW was Triple H won't be wrestling again until WrestleMania 29. No word yet if this means Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent will be Triple H or if it means they have nixed the rematch altogether.

WWE originally didn't have a Triple H speech planned for RAW this week. Last night's segment was done because of the crowd reaction they received at SummerSlam. The feeling was that fans didn't take Triple H's "retirement" serious enough at first.

Of course no one took it seriously, look who it was coming from! he's about as sincere as a declaration of sexual satisfaction and lust from a hooker who's just been slipped a Benjamin from an obese 60 year old with erectile dysfunction and genital warts.

If they really hold off Triple H's needless win over Brock until Mania they are even dumber than I thought, but one way or the other some poor bastard is jobbing to this ego case at Mania when he makes his triumphant return.

:lmao:

You are the Chael Sonnen of the Wrestling Thread

I can't believe people didn't think that last night's "speech" WASN'T just to stroke Triple H's ego and now...HHH will be burying someone on the Grandest Stage of Them All. How disappointing, and shame on you Trips.

I just hope we don't get HHH burying someone like Punk.

I understand everyone has their preferences, but you're telling me Angle, Styles, Aries, Joe, Storm, Roode, Hardy aren't as talented as those guys?

I mentioned that I love Joe and Austin, though not as much in TNA where they just don't feel quit like themselves in the ring.

And God no, none of those (other then Joe and Austin) are anywhere in the same universe as Dragon (best in the world by some margin), Punk (the best overall package in the business), Ziggler, Brock or Cena. I would have added Jericho but he just left.

Styles has never and will never be anything other then mediocre to me. I honestly don't know what he does for those that think he is a world class, but his matches, nothing, absolutely nothing for me. It isn't like he is built like Cena or has offense on par with Dragon. He can't be a convincing force of nature nor is he likable enough to be the baby face that gets ripped up. Jeff was always good at one specific thing and he isn't even good at that anymore. A nearly middle aged man walking around like that isn't appealing to begin with and his in ring work just makes it more painful.

I don't know how anyone can watch Angle and not cringe. This is the guy who had that match with Benoit at the Rumble. The dude is a shadow. He looks horrible, in pain and moves like a robot. The sheer intensity is gone, as is his overall movement and he looks like he is just trying to get through it. Any semblance of psychology he learned while working with Eddie, Austin, Benoit, the Rock, Taker, etc. disappeared over a half a decade ago.

Roode is ok, but Storm, nah.

Do people really think Triple H is going to be beat Brock? I know the WWE is stupid, but even I am having trouble seeing that. Especially after that brilliant no-sell finish. Though perhaps this sting to Hunter's ego might just change that.

I like Ziggler, he's one of my favorites. But in terms of athleticism, AJ Styles has him beat. Not with ease, but there aren't too many better than him. I've seen the guy wrestle for 10 years, and it doesn't feel like he's missed a step.

Missed a step at being miscast and no where near the worker he is made out to be. Ziggler's pins are better then AJ's entire matches.

Flat out disagree there. Styles has progressed as a worker over the years and has become more psychology based in his approach. Where as at one point he was like a spot monkey, he now doesn't pump his matches full of moves and tells a story.

Joe had gotten sloppy and apathetic over the last two years, but he's starting act like he cares nowadays and has been putting on some good matches.

I agree on Joe, and I blame TNA mostly. The big intense bad ass is gone. But that is what happens when you take a force of nature and turn him into someone just above the midcard. Austin at least embraces his role, even if it isn't exactly great. Kind of like Dragon.

AJ psychology is all wrong even now. It would be like if Austin wrestled like he was the Undertaker or Dragon like he was Brock.

It is one of the things that sets Dragon apart from everyone else. He has put together a move set and style that allows him to wrestle pretty much every person on earth that fits his look and personality.

So, still terrible. Sheamus does have so much potential but his new direction really effects his in ring work. Only Dragon was convincing at beating him up.

Nothing is going to change as long as Vince McMahon remains in charge. If he has to, he will find a way to outlive Triple H and run the WWE forever. Well, there won't be a WWE Version of the Arab Spring anyways. There's not going to be an Egypt or Libya like revolt from the WWE Superstars that will overthrow Vince McMahon. It also means that he won't allow any wrestlers to join a union, although he'll make an exception for the Rock, who is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (he has to be in order for him to have major roles in major studio films). Knowing how Vince likes to control things, he'll blackball whoever on the roster joins a union, unless it's one of his major players.

We would all like to see the WWE change for the better, but it's not going to happen as long as Vince McMahon is in charge. He wants to prove he's better than everyone, plain and simple. Will things get better if Triple H becomes in charge? I don't know, but he's doing some things right. Vince is the type who believes that there is nothing and nobody that can stop him.

finally got around to seeing that saturday morning wwe show
i know its g, but c'mon wwe.... the match was hard to sit through with those restrictions

If anyone cares, which is doubtful:

WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday)
* Smackdown opens with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus coming to the ring to cut a promo. He is interrupted by Damien Sandow. Sandow insults Sheamus and the crowd, then leaves. Booker T comes out and announces Sheamus vs. Danien Sandow for later tonight.

* Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes.

* Kaitlyn defeated Natalya. Eve came out for commentary.

* Anger management replay from Raw aired.

* Backstage segment with Booker T. He says AJ is off her rocker. Vickie came up and criticized AJ and threatens to take action if the board of directors doesn't.

* Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow via count out.

* The Prime Time Players defeated Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel.

* Another anger management replay is shown.

* Hype for Alberto Del Rio interview next.

* Alberto cuts a promo on Sheamus. Kane comes out and apologizes to Josh Mathews for his attack at SummerSlam.

* Alberto Del Rio defeated Kane. After the match, Kane attacks Mathews.

* Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Wholeheartedly agree. Frankly, I don't see the rest of 2012 being eventful or even enjoyable for the product since there isn't a single thing that they have going on at the moment that looks like it holds promise.

They have the talent but they aren't using them correctly and they keep stroking the egos of those who aren't just worth it anymore.

Frankly, I don't see the product being popular or entertaining again until Vince loses control of his position.

Okay, I may approve this.

Famous Hollywood actor Terry Crews spoke in a Reddit.com fan chat that he has been in conversation with the WWE.

Crews stated "I'm talking to WWE about doing some things. I love the energy and excitement and the live component. It's theater on a grand scale!"

Terry Crews is a participant with WWE Diva Eve on NBC's "Stars Earn Stripes." It was also reported that he was in Los Angeles for WWE Summerslam last week. Crews has many connections with the WWE, so this should not come as a shock. He has been a known WWE fan for quite some time.

Also, I just finished The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and something was mentioned that makes me wonder....Dwayne was talking about how it affected him when he heard 'Die Rocky Die' and 'Rocky Sucks' because every "good guy" wants to get the entire crowd behind him and the feeling is BS when someone can't get the entire crowd on their side. It just makes me wonder how Cena truly feels and if he's ever been truthfully honest, or that if he ever wonders how it'll be if Cena can change up his WWE persona a little and even become a heel.

I think the difference with Cena and Rocky Mavia is that Cena's stuff still sells and while half of the crowd may hate him, he still has all of the adolescents that like him; and it also helps that he's the company's spokesperson for all of their social media crap and whatnot.

There's NO WAY that Cena will be turned heel until he's universally hated by the audiences in the way that Rocky Mavia was, along with a new TOP FACE emerging as well

Terry Crews on RAW  They should bring in The Expendables.

Cena can't deny being hurt by the loud chorus of boos. You can see it on his face sometimes. It has to eat away at him a little bit , especially when he really tries.I wonder if he just chooses to accept it or wants to change things up a bit.

Man....Smackdown used to be so awesome back in 2002-03. :csad:

I think it effects him on some level as well. I'm sorry but no one is that mentally strong that they can go out night after night and have half the crowd boo them and not feel anything. Even if your stubbon as hell and have a super thick skin that much dislike will get to you at some point.

I bet that Cena really wants to turn heel for many reasons: it will give his character and work a much-needed refresh, the boos won't affect him as much, and will give him a break from all the non-wrestling travelling he has to do for the company.

^Agreed.

Even Austin and Rock were both heels in there day. I wonder if Cena will EVER get to turn heel again? If Triple H ever takes over I can see him allowing it...all Vince sees is money and if Cena turns heel he can't make the company money like he does now.

Cena has got to want to atleast tweak his character a little bit. It must get boring being the same character year after year. I can't see him wanting to do another ten years in the WWE where his character is the same as it is now.

Right now Cena's current tweaks... That are allowed by Vince.

Vince: Hey John! We've got a NEW shirt color for you! Hot PINK!

Cena: ......No one knows what it's like... To be the baaaad man...To be the saaaad man...
