- We noted before that WWE has apparently agreed to partner with All Japan Pro Wrestling, a deal that John Laurinaitis helped put together. Early reports indicated that AJPW may be a new developmental territory for WWE.

New reports coming out of Japan suggest that WWE and AJPW may be doing a talent exchange, most likely for the proposed cruiserweight show on the WWE Network. This doesn't mean that the possibility of a developmental territory in Japan is ruled out but the talent exchange is more likely.

The newspaper Tokyo Sports featured an image of Laurinaitis with AJPW President Masayuki Uchida. Apparently Laurinaitis has met with AJPW officials one other time this year besides the reported meeting in August when WWE was on tour in Japan.

There are also rumblings of some kind of talent exchange where Big Show may be sent to make an appearance for AJPW in exchange for a WWE appearance by The Great Muta. That report is not confirmed but we hope to have more solid details on the WWE-AJPW partnership soon.

Cena's character is totally arrogant. The idea that he can cut a promo and honestly claim that Punk's title reign is meaningless and not worthy of respect until he beats Cena is horse ****. He beat Cena for the belt TWICE last year. Every title defense since SS, he's won CLEAN. The only sneaky one was Summerslam, and that was still cheating free. At NOC Cena essentially screwed himself for not being technically proficient enough to bridge while pinning Punk.

All these things considered, and Punk doesn't deserve respect until he beats Cena again?! And they wonder why Punk gets cheered no matter what they do.

A triple threat match calls for someone to pull off a cunning and sneaky move sometimes and Punk made the right moves so even the triple threat match didn't show Punk "cheating". Cena just killed his promo, the wrong way, when he said Punk has cheated his way into keeping his title.

Wait, Cena actually said that? Punk beat Cena straight up at MITB 2011. Just because Cena is a dumbass who was distracted by McMahon doesn't mean that Punk didn't beat him fair and square.

Just when I thought TNA was finally doing the right thing by doing their own thing, they are obviously booking Austin Aries/Jeff Hardy in similiar fashion to Punk/Cena. And if Bully Ray gets in the match and it's a triple threat, this will be confirmed. Bully Ray will be in the role of the Big Show at Summerslam. Great.

I love the idea of Punk and Heyman together, but as a whole I hate the Punk heel turn so far. It's making him look like an idiot. Punk had everyone of the fans respect, the announcers respect, the respect of other wrestlers. Yea, he still could have complained about the WWE officials and higher ups, but to say we the fans don't respect him makes his character look stupid. And, who is now the top babyface for the 18-34 year old demographic? It was Punk, but the WWE once again took a sh** all over that grouping. I would have rather moved Punk to Smackdown, Sheamus to Raw, and then turned Orton heel and resume the Punk/Orton feud from 2011.

I wouldn't be so sure about Bully being used like Big Show. He could win the title at BFG since he might be the leader of Ace's and Eights.

Been to lots of live wrestling shows. If this is your first then you are really in for quite a night.

I used to go constantly back in the late 80's and early 90's. I remember being in the front row seeing Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair when they weren't TOO old. :oldrazz::cwink:

My favorite live show was King of the Ring '99? I'm not sure what year it was because things are hazy but basically it was the night that Mick Foley was thrown from Hell in a Cell, put THROUGH the cell, and then chokeslammed onto thumbtacks.

It was the most insane thing I ever saw because when Foley was thrown off the cage through the table everyone pretty much thought they had finally killed someone. :wow:

Man, that had to be crazy to see Foley doing that! :woot:

How long do the events usually take? Do they do anything after the matches? I got parking up til 1AM just incase, really wasn't sure what to expect in that area.

'98. I remember because it was the second PPV I ever ordered.

Eh, they were still protecting Cena with the distraction. It's still not a clean loss.

I think it would be interesting to pinpoint the last time Cena lost clean--no special circumstances. Can anyone recall such a time? The long long ago?

The Rock at Wrestlemania. I think both punk and cena were distracted by vince in that match. Punk walked into an stf because of it and cena into a gts cause of it. Of course the cena distraction was not the plan for mr. mcmahon.

Well, I believe you said you are going to a PPV so it'll probably be 3 to 4 hours. You'll probably get some matches before the actually event starts and one thing about being there live is that you get to see a ton of stuff you don't on television, especially after the show goes off the air.

I just remembered that he technically hadn't faced Cena during this title reign until Cena cashed in. Even then, for Cena to **** on Punk's reign is garbage.

I think it was to Orton.

Looking at the Money In The Bank match, I consider his loss to Punk clean since they both were distracted by McMahon and Laurinaitis. Punk got distracted in the match by McMahon walking out, and Cena then slapped on the STF. Laurinatis tries getting involved, Cena lets go of the hold, decks him, and then Punk catches Cena with the GTS.

The first thing that came to mind was that Haitch wants to add Muta to his CV.

Cena as the leader of the NWO? Surely he should been the leader of the Dudes with Attitude.

I like the concept but they did a lousy job putting guys together. I think several of those groups could be revived. Flair and Arn could name a new Four Horsemen with Ziggler as the frontrunner. I don't see Heyman restarting ECW but he could bring back NWO although he was never part of it. They could also bring in Kevin Nash who recently had a kayfabe feud wih Triple H.

I miss going to live shows. It's been awhile because of the area. One thing I've always wanted to do is sit front row though. I got to sit four rows back at Wrestlemania 24. :woot:

The last that I can remember is Shawn Michaels back in 2007 on the Raw in London, beyond that everyone else has won with some form of assistance.

Man, that Four Horsemen group is perfect. Seriously... They nailed that. I'd have Ziggler as the Flair..but "story" wise it would be all sorts of awesome for Flair to recruit a Rhodes as the leader of the NEW 4 Horsemen.

It would also serve to get Barrett over better as a legit badass IMHO.

I'd love for the WWE to do it... But because the website is ran by Joey Styles...Who doesn't write for WWE TV and as we all know Joey has GREAT ideas but the writers for WWE TV tend to all be hacks.

Does The Rock beating him at wm 28 count or is that a special circumstance?

That's fair--weird that I forgot since I watched the match. But maybe let's not count it since it's the Rock, haha.

A special circumstance since the WWE will announce a rematch at Wrestlemania 29 and pretend that the match at WM 28 didn't exist.
