The Wrestling Thread Worked Its Butt Off To Get Where It Is Today. - - Part 74

A special circumstance since the WWE will announce a rematch at Wrestlemania 29 and pretend that the match at WM 28 didn't exist.

Not so. I am picturing a triple threat match for the WWE title at WM 29 with Punk in it. It'll give Vince his match featuring Cena and Rock but also add in another component so the 'Once in a Lifetime' tagline won't become a mockery.

I know they suggested Double A for that, but I think it would work better with Flair as the figurehead. Anderson could still be a part when it comes to support and advice, but Flair makes more sense. Don't care if they get compared to Fortune, it would be worth it to see a team like that together.

I was told by a friend to check out Barrett's return match on Friday. So happy they're booking him as the striker his background implies. I like that finisher of his, too.

The WWE will beat this down to death tonight:

WWE issued an announcement Monday morning of a new partnership with Hulu Plus, the subscription version of Hulu that will see all episodes of Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Superstars and WWE Main Event - streamed starting 24 hours after the original broadcast dates of the series.

The official release reads:

WWE LAUNCHES ON HULU PLUS

STAMFORD, Conn., September 24, 2012 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced an exclusive, multi-year agreement that will bring WWE programming to Hulu Plus. Starting today, Hulu Plus will offer WWE fans unlimited instant streaming access, additional content and programming on-the-go, as it becomes the exclusive home for next-day access to all WWE TV programming. Hulu Plus subscribers can also go to Hulu Latino to see WWE’s popular digital show, WWE En Español, the Spanish-language magazine program that recaps WWE’s most exciting moments each week.

Hulu Plus delivers one more way for WWE fans to access content and experience the WWE, offering the chance to relive or catch up on all of the action from WWE’s weekly television programs the next day. Subscribers can access content across mobile phones, tablets, PCs, internet-connected TVs, set-top boxes and gaming consoles. In addition, the Hulu Plus subscription service offers hit TV shows and award-winning movies anytime in HD when available for $7.99/month.

“As a clear leader in digital content delivery, Hulu is an ideal partner for WWE,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman and CEO. “Hulu delivers more ways for our fans to experience WWE programming than ever before.”

That's a pretty cool partnership But I'd prefer it on Netflix since that's what I have lol,Plus Netflix streaming already has WWE dvds&documentaries and so might as well have the weekly shows on it or old seasons of them at least!!

The WWE will beat this deal to death on TV tonight, so much so that we'll get tired of it.

I'm a bit disappointed that Punk did not wear his new headgear to the ring tonight. :oldrazz:

The Wrestling Thread Messed Up, and Now Will Resign.

Heh. WWE now kind of doing a parody of the NFL replacement refs.

The Wrestling Thread is the reason you have an extra skip in your step.

And Punk has inadvertently caused the crowd to cheer him.

lol @ the CM Punk chant. He'll never get fully boo'd. Every single male just became more of a fan.
