Am I the only one watching a Godzilla movie right now?

Watch the language, lady!

Nice ME between Aries and Bully Ray.

I know Earl says he screwed Bret...but now Ray screws Earl? Eeer. taking it literal, Bubba.

I'm hoping Hardy puts Aries over wether he leaves or not. If he leaves it makes sense to do that. If not its a big win that can help Aries.

I wonder if that rumor on Beth is true. haven't read it anywhere else but then I haven't checked many sites today.

Hulk Hogan Teases Shaquille O'Neal Appearance on Impact Wrestling

By Steve Carrier on 09/20/2012
Hulk Hogan teased that Shaquille O'Neal, who is backstage at Impact in Orlando today, would be appearing on Impact tonight. Here is what Hogan posted on Twitter.

"Want some?you know the rest, got my other son Shaq watching my back tonight on IMPACT! Come get some Aces and8's. HOLLYWOOD4LIFE2SWEET"

I imagine the woman screaming "**** you Bobby Roode!" may have had a few drinks. Or she's just very passionate.

I noticed her and her group of friends werent in their seats any longer during the Aries/Ray match.

Not much in the way of Aces & Eights, but the show was great for wrestling. I did not expect to see Chavo/Hernandez to be books as legitimate competition for AJ/Angle, to the point where I could easily see them win that match.

Roode and Storm's fight was just a good time.

And I think TNA might try to shoehorn Ray into the main event to make it another triple threat against Hardy and Aries after tonight.

Good news about Beth, hopefully she goes to TNA and adds depth and quality to the Knockouts division.

haha. I really think Jeff is so distant no one really knows what he's thinking. Well it could either be distance or shyness but if the guy wants time off it won't matter either way. I don't see Jeff as a guy who would wrestle into his forties. One last run with WWE makes a lot of sense.

If Jeff wants time off and an easier schedule then making him champion wont help as that adds responsibility, as champion you have a lot more work to do, you can't miss shows and you're expected to shoulder the promotional work.

I wasn't that interested until I saw the content listing

Why was this match included? Is this another one of Ed Leslie's names?

- More news on the bad Sin Cara vs. The Miz match from last week's SmackDown, the one where Cara went backstage disappointed and disappeared for a little while after it was over. A lot of the blame was put on Cara. After the match, there was more of a push to do Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara at WrestleMania with the feeling that Rey will be able to carry Cara to a good match in front of a live crowd on the biggest show of the year.

Shouldn't the feeling after such a terrible match be to not put him on Mania at all?
- TNA is still developing the Aces & 8s storyline but it's said that odds are less than 50% that Jeff Jarrett will end up being the leader. Jarrett is currently only working big shows for AAA in Mexico. He left his TNA duties to focus on Ring Ka King and the proposed Speed Channel project but since nothing has happened with either of those, it's probably time for him to return soon.
Still developing? starting an angle like this with so many moving parts and no clear endgame is usually the road to disaster. Still I hope the odds on Jarrett keep lowering.
- We've noted before that The Rock will have Snitch and GI Joe come out during WrestleMania 29 season next year. Add a third movie to that list as Pain & Gain will be released nationwide on April 26th, just a few weeks after the big event in New Jersey. The Rock will be very busy promoting Snitch and GI Joe before WrestleMania so it will be interesting to see how he handles the schedule and promotes both shows.

This is probably why it'll be a triple threat at Mania, or Brock will cost Rock the belt at the Rumble and Rock and Brock will just do a short build to their Mania match after EC.

Amusing

Corbis-42-15821050.jpg

I will say that bit TNA did with Ferrigno and Foley years ago got a laugh out of me.

Good regular Impact, but as Open Fight Night? It was weak. Hardly any Aces and Eights and they're teasing Austin Aries to become a heel/ tweener. If Bully Ray does get inserted into the World title scene, it's likely the PPV after BFG as they're already building between Hardy and Aries.

Lots of Hulk Hogan last night, but mainly because half the roster are in the house show that's running the same time as Impact. Joseph Park has become part of the Aces and Eights storyline in a big way.

I'm surprised Joey Ryan didn't appear during Gutcheck since Al Snow slapped him.

The opening tag team match was good and set up for BFG.

I was hoping for a brawl between Tara and Tessmacher, but I'm glad we got one between James Storm and Bobby Roode.

I agree about Jeff and Beth. I looked up this match on yt. It's a basic squash for Xpac with a post match interview with the Outsiders. I think they put this on there for the sole reason of showing nwo Saturday night footage. I'm not familiar with 'The Bounty Hunter' but it's not Ed Leslie ,lol.

Shouldn't the feeling after such a terrible match be to not put him on Mania at all?.

The way that paragraph reads doesn't make sense to me either. Hopefully Cara will be able to adapt with Mysterio leading the way. Car should be ready by Mania.

Anyone else getting the NWO blu ray coming out in November? :D Plan on getting CM Punk's blu ray when it comes out in a few weeks as well.

I'll without a doubt be getting the nWo set, as I've mentioned on the boards before I started watching wrestling shortly before Hall came through the crowd. While I was a kid and a strong WCW supporter I was still in awe of how dangerous and good Hall & Nash were. I look back on those years fondly for shaping my wrestling youth.

FYI guys, Best Buy is having the Blu-Ray version of SummerSlam 2012 on sale for $13.99 or $15.99 (it was one of the two prices) until tomorrow night, the 22nd.

- As noted yesterday, WWE is ending their partnership with European DVD distributor Silvervision. One of the reasons for WWE ending the relationship is because they want to control the streaming of their content overseas as well as take certain rights back in-house.

F***! :cmad:

Re: Beth Phoenix

Very sad if she quits. I hope she changes her mind.

So, TNA not only snubbed multiple deserving, hard-working wrestlers that made storyline sense in the coveted spot for the Bound For Glory World Title match in favour of shoehorning in a joke who has repeatedly embarrassed the company and screwed up every second chance he's gotten, but they snubbed multiple deserving, hard-working wrestlers that made storyline sense in the coveted spot for the Bound For Glory World Title match in favour of shoehorning in a joke who has repeatedly embarrassed the company and screwed up every second chance he's gotten AND who has been reportedly openly talking about how keen he is to jump ship to WWE first chance he gets?

LOLTNA.

Hardy really pisses me off. How many times have the two major companies tried to push him to the moon? He has the potential to be THE top guy in wrestling with his popularity, and yet he displays a complete lack of passion. Guys would kill to be as over as Jeff Hardy. He could have overtaken Cena as the top guy in WWE if he stuck with the company and kept his nose clean, but he just doesn't care enough.

As much as I agree with you recently I've been thinking of his huge face run back in 2009, without a doubt Jeff was FAR more popular then Cena ever has been an yet had they gotten anywhere near each other Hardy would of had to of gone heel or lose without hesitation to Cena.

I'm not so sure. I consider Hardy much more accessible to kids and women than my boy Punk. The number of little kids I saw with Hardy merch was quite impressive at the time. I think if Jeff was more reliable then McMahon might have pulled the trigger on him

Hardy is really the architect of his own fate. He could have been roughly on par with Cena right now, if he keep himself clean and separate his in-ring character from real life.

Even with his lack of mic skills Hardy would have been much more effective as a top babyface than Cena. He has always been able to get sympathy from the audience, and he has much more support from the adult male fans.

I really hope he stays clean. If he came back and got a huge push again....man he would no doubt be right up there with Cena or even past Cena. IF he stays clean and gets another huge push it would be a great story too, I could see them working that into a program with Punk since they have in the past.
