Why ripoff stories that were already done in the comics? forget that

Popular storylines give a keen insight to what 'works' in regards to:

1) Particular Characterizations. (Clark Kent that is goofy vs. Strong and confident. Campy Lex vs. Corporate Lex vs. Non-campy Criminal Lex)
2) What people want to see: Doomsday storyline, Braniac, Metallo, etc.


Give me a live action comic book storyline any day, it is safer than having some hollywood hack writers trying to create something appealing.
