Things You Don't Understand

I just wanted to see a standard Hollywood level of professionalism with regards to the editing, writing, and continuity of an average PG-13 sci-fi blockbuster action film. We arguably didn't get it. :csad:
Did you have any reason to expect that from this movie..?

OK, Michael Bay is predictable in his schlock style - this is true.

However, I was not expecting ROTF to take everything that was dumb, pointless and annoying from the first movie and multiply it by ten. I was (perhaps foolishly) thinking that we were going to get something similar in stylistic quality to the 2007 TF movie as opposed to the poorly edited, poorly-paced, overlong mishmash that is ROTF.

Sounds to me like the expectations I used to have before knowing the result of exams I didn't study for*

*another horribly written sentence, I know

Heres something I really had an in depth conversation over, when I was telling my friends why I want to try Mushrooms:

I don't understand hallucinations. Like, at all. My brain has a hard time understanding them. I just don't get how you see something that is not there. Thats why I want to try mushrooms. To get that experience first hand, to help me understand.

Yeah, enjoy your "research". And stay away from animals ;)

Why Anthony Warlow only did the Complete Works concept recording of Jekyll & Hyde, but never played the role on stage. I love Robert Cuccioli to death (his interpretation is fantastic). But Anthony`s voice...

Dammit, if the show hadn`t been written by Leslie Brucussi and then ****ed with by the producers, it could have transferred to the West End with him as J&H.

I only clicked the button once, you stupid computer.

:cmad:

I don't understand double posts. :oldrazz:

I also don't understand vegetarians. Every argument I hear doesn't work out logically.

I don't undertsand why they haven't made binoculars that can shoot silent bullets from long distances in the army yet.

I hate* vegetarians. Every vegetarian I know it's a crazy fundamentalist -- giving you bad looks if you talk about food and talking to your friends about you, saying stuff like how can you be friend of someone who eats meat and crazy stuff like that.

*I know it's not the hate thread but still :o

I've luckily never had anyone say that to me, which would just prompt me to go off on them in my "carnivore's rights" mode (especially the 'how can you be friends with someone who eats meat' part). Most veggies I know I'm friendly with (although a heated debate or two has happened).

I don't understand why people can't grasp the idea of innocent until proven guilty is a LEGAL TERM. They seem to think the rest of society must abide by that as well. Wrong!

I don't understand how some people can't get that the idea of "freedom of speech" is not the same as "we all have to listen to you".

Someone needs to post that Deadpool/Cap comparison.

Never got vegitarians either. They think to much when it comes to meat.

I don't understand why fat girls wear leggings.

Me neither -- but a friend of mine. And it was a guy she liked, heh -- oh well

I don't understand people's desperation over finding things in the internet. If you can't find something in the internet, you should just turn off the computer. And die.

I don't understand how all girls that are named Ashley are blondes.

How anyone could've walked into Transformers 2 expecting anything more than pure popcorn.

You all have no one to blame but yourselves.

I did go in for a nice summer movie. I didnt get that. And this is coming from a fan of the first...I didnt expect it to be the greatest film of the year I expected to be entertained which except for the forest scene and the beginning 5 mins I was not

Yeah, because pure popcorn = terrible jokes, 75% filler, all that

I liked some of the jokes. I mean I laughed at all of them. But some of it had no place in a TF film. And some stuff was just too damn current for my taste.

Why in the hell did they have to mention the economy and the swine flu? And the twins weren't needed at all. I have no idea if they're racist. They certainly weren't meant to be, but they did play on the stereotype.
