Things You Don't Understand

I don't understand why some homosexuals are fighting to be married in a church a.k.a God's house. God isn't particularly fond of the lifestyle.

...because they're Christians?

And as for God not being fond of homosexuality, only God can really answer that one.

So.. that'll remain unanswered. Forever.

Kids that dont know their technological history

some 13 year old didnt know what a Walkman was :facepalm

Why T.O. could manage to hold the Gay Pride Parade during the City Workers Strike, but not manage the fireworks displays for Canada Day.

I don't understand people who criticizes stuff left and right, while gleefully sporting a Transformers avvy

I don't understand WHY in the name of Optimus Prime, crap like Battleship, Monopoly, Asteroids and a bubblegum brand are getting movies when instead they could be making a fortune from stuff like:

1. Metal Gear Solid: The history of WAR itself as told by the James Cameron Of Video Gaming.

2. Bioshock: Atlas Shrugged. The Movie. nuff said

3. Superman Reboot: 70 GODDAMN YEARS OF HISTORY YOU WARNER MORONS!!!!

4. Gargoyles: A modern take on the ye old tales of witchcraft and wizardry. Starring devilish beasts as heroes and a Lex Luthor archetype as the villain.
Oh and it's a ... DISNEY product. Talk about class...

5. A REAL GI Joe movie: I'm talking Black Hawk Down + GI Joe Resolute based on the epic IDW comic series...

6. Movies about DC superheros who are not nocturnal creatures or pseudo-jesus:

7. Something original

8. Movies based on The Call Of Cthullu

9. Movies based on the Fallout video games (A grittier and wackier Mad Max)

10. A movie that makes fun of internet forums and their crazy members

You bring up many great points dude. Damn, a Fallout movie could be really awesome if done right. I couldn't finish the game. I could never get into RPG's. But I love the story.

I see it a lot more like a FPS, actually

What does FPS mean?

My first guess is Fore-Play ****.

I don't understand why Hollywood is able to make only one good movie based off an Anne Rice novel.

then you havent been watching alot of good movies. Not Hollywood's fault there are good movies out there but you just have to look

I dont understand why people b**** about film reboots so much. I can understand remakes but reboots I dont get. Star Trek, TIH, BB, Casino Royale were all excellent. Sure, there have been crappy reboots (Pink Panther, I heard Friday the 13th and Halloween were bad) but there are crappy original movies too. So I dont see why reboots have so much animosity towards them

Reboot is becoming a word that is thrown around too much these days.

ST, TIH, BB, CR, are all reboots that worked and because they needed to be rebooted.

There is definitely a segment of the population who think it's fashionable to be against anything that is popular, whether it's actually good or not. I prefer to ignore those types.

I don't understand why people can't grasp the idea of innocent until proven guilty is a LEGAL TERM. They seem to think the rest of society must abide by that as well. Wrong!

I don't understand how some people can't get that the idea of "freedom of speech" is not the same as "we all have to listen to you".
Just because it's a legal term doesn't mean it can't be a sociological concept as well.

Most reboots that were needed. I went to wikipedia and looked up the reboots that are in production

The Final Destination. No thoughts on that

A Nightmare on Elm Street. The first Freddy movie was in 1984 with the last one being in 1994. If they wanted to do a sequel than yes I think a reboot is a good idea. Most of us saw what happened last time when someone tried to stay in the same continuity as a dead film series in the 90s :ninja:. But I do think it was even unnecessary to release a 2nd movie at all..

Mortal Kombat: Devastation. Yeah if they want to make a new one then it would be better to have a reboot rather than trying to keep in with the same continuity of the old series

Daredevil. Most of the cast doesnt want to return, fans have been asking for a reboot. I think its a plausible reason to reboot

The First Avenger: Captain America.Ya it needs a reboot

I do agree to an extent that it is thrown around too much. I find it annoying and stupid when people want to reboot the Spiderman series because of SP3 or people who want to reboot the Batman series nowbecause it wont get any better than TDK. Those are 2 stupid ideas for reboots.

I will add

11. A Gears of War film. They announced it and it fizzled. It could actually be a real cool sci-fi war movie and it was supposed to be released next year, but no cast, no shooting date I doubt it

12. Halo film. Even though I dont think it'll be hard to make the payoff would be huge. It would be one of the biggest films ever

13. Enders Game series

14. Zoids: New Century Zero, Samurai X (the OVAs), and Gundam Wing are the 3 animes I think can actually be made into films and be successful. But a Samurai X movie should be made indie so they can cast an Asian cast

I don't understand how red marvel didn't post a snappy innuendo in this thread. It does not compute.
