Things You Don't Understand

because they are fun to watch....if I want deep and meaningful Ill watch independent film...I can watch Wall Street, then watch The Rock, and then go watch GlenGarry GlenRoss and enjoy them each individually

I actually had someone tell me I was less of a fan because I liked ROTF...thats a ****** thing to say...not liking a director or writer is fine but calling their fans "less than" is total BS

I don't understand why at a grocery story people choose paper.....when it's raining.

I don't understand people's love for Nathan Fillion. I liked him in Serenity but that's all he'll be. He won't ever have a bigger role than that. After Castle I don't know what the hell will happen.

Now we're getting somewhere. I don't understand how some people think they're fun to watch.

from a purey looks standpoint...all his movies look fantastic, sets, props, vehicles...all of it is aesthetically pleasing...makes the crazy plot tolerable....The Rock IMO is a totally implausible action movie, but is still considered one of the better action movies of the past 20 years because it presents it so well

and on the other side of that...there's an action movie called The Nest...essentially its gang warfare set in one warehouse...its a good movie, but the look of it really sells it....very gritty, dark, broken crap everywhere

I guess it's just me. When I think of action movies that I enjoyed Cameron's, McTiernan's and Verhoven's stuff is what comes to mind. Not Michael Bay.

well I enjoy all those directors as well....not a huge Verhoven fan, but its whatever....hell I love Last Action Hero...a movie way ahead of its time...and John McTiernan directed that

Yeah, I don't understand how women find Johnny Depp attractive.

Well all 3 of them have made some of the greatest action films in history. I liked LAH as well, but I was more refering to Die Hard and Predator for McTiernan.

well Die Hard is the standard for action movies as far as I am concerned....when it came out, it raised the bar for every big action film after it and still holds the crown IMO

I don't understand why some, if not most, attractive women tend to have big feet.

Die Hard is the standard for all films, the way I see it, The director and the producers and the writers should all get together when they go to make a movie, and if they cant make something on par with Die Hard....It should NOT get made.

I dont understand why people make such a big deal over Scarlett Johansson. She's a meh actress and she's only moderately attractive.

the world needs bad movies....it makes you appreciate the good ones...and besides what would guys like Thomas Ian Griffith and Lorenzo Lamas do??

Because he's one of the best- if not the best- actors in Hollywood right now.

I think he's a good actor, but find him overrated. I just can't believe that for most of his roles, he's paid over $10-15 million. Then again, that's just me and that's just you.

He deserves that pay a helluva lot more than people like Clooney or Julia Roberts, who IMO arent very good actors.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, Johnny's a good, but overrated, actor, imo.

I know what you mean. I remember when Julia Roberts was buck toothed and not that attractive and working the counter at the Eckerd's drug store in Smyrna.
