I don't understand why my company(which is one of the few mega-corporations still making tons of $ even in this aweful economy) looks at my store which for months has been undermanned and decides they are going to cut back even further on personel while expecting more work from the people like me who are still keeping their jobs. I also don't understand why they are doing all that and still paying us the same hourly $(even though my hours are being cut) that we had before when we had less of a workload per person. Man, **** Chevron!

Example: a buddy of mine used to work at a pizza joint. He told me some company bigwig comes in to inspect things. Said bigwig notes that the employees are putting too much pepperoni on the pizzas--there should only be 20 (or something like that) slices per pizza and they are using 24 (or something like that) slices. Then Mr. Wig throws away the pizzas and tells them to remake them because they are wasting food.

Then that is your experience. Let me tell you what hell is. Hell is being stuck in a room with 10 to 15 pissed off pregnant women cussing at you because they have to wait so long to see the doctor. Having to have an incredibly uncomfortable conversation with somebody about vaginal leakage. Unwatched kids hopped up on sugar running around like.....well....unwatched kids hopped up on sugar. You try doing that five days a week and not complain about how crappy your job is. I mean come on. I see somebody in a s**t job, I can feel their pain.

On another note, the only good thing about having worked for the Free Clinic was Free Condoms and the hookers.
