Spider-Man's next "life-changing event" being something good like him being reunited with baby May or something.

With the way One More Day is starting to look, this may happen.

aside from me getting hired?
Hmm...

Spider-Man take charge of something and show the big brass-ones we all know he's earned

Jean Grey come back and pre-emptively dump Cyclops, and ditch any and all X-teams

unexpected teams: Hood and Namor, Thor and Shang-Chi, Luke Cage and Quasar. any team-up that doesn't seem like it's been done a thousand times.

Tony fighting his urge to drink given all the stress (I don't need him shown as a devil, but this can't be an easy time for him, and once an alcoholic...)

T'Chall and Storm: Divorce Court

Dr. Doom: Bad-ass Anti-hero. 'Nuff said.

Spider-Man team ups with his villains (A lot of his guys can play both sides of the field).

Reed take back the FF and make a startling discovery about the multi-verse that estabishes a link with the Exiles.

So... basically return things to the status quos? I do actually agree with some of these (a Sentry vs. Thor'd be nice, as would Juggernaut). But good riddance to Carnage and Emma has been better for Scott than Jean ever was.

or I could just get my wish and he just dies. I would like the MU a lot better if he were not in it.

I would also like cap to come back. watch someone beat tony stark within an inch of his life, and then just walk away saying "your on your own"

I actually have my own idea for ressurecting cap. My idea: He's not dead. It was believed that he needed to die, other wise there would be break out attempts, and prison riots, and all manner of unrest. this way, they go through a week or so of chaos that they plan, and then everything is running again.

Cap has been smuggled out of the country to Japan where he works as a graphic designer for an ad firm. He starts falling into his old super-hero habits, but tries not to be noticed he becomes an urban legend in Tokyo. They call him "The Cowboy" because all the know about him is that he's an american. Steve embraces it and makes a costume for it, complete with six-guns, bull-whip, lasso, and throwing star. He is actually inducted into the new incarnation of Big Hero Six.

Beyonder receiving the power he was first given.

Beyonder makes a real SWIII

not how i would have done it, but um, its better than a lot of stuff out there

It doesn't neccesarily have to be status quo, but Carnage is way too popular. Why draw out what is an inevitability? And I really haven't been reading X-men comics ever since so many things have been changed from status quo.
So theres no more mutants? Fine, but now whats the point of the Xavier institute. They're more like native Americans now than anything. Lets make Beast some type of cat creature? Sure, and why not alienate NightCrawler fans by making him a real demon. Oh wait they did. And that was horrible too. Rogue no longer has super strenth, invulnerability ect? Okay, maybe, I can live with that, but why the hell does she have to have fire powers now. And theres more.
I mean, I'm all for change. Hell Civil War has given us some kick ass story arcs. But I just hate bad, pointless change. Jean Grey is one of the members of the X-men who made them the X-men. Shes practically a staple member.

Infact forget everything I said. I don't care if any of those things happen more than what I'mabout to say next. You know what I really want to see happen in Marvel? Editors putting their foots down. That means if a wrighter has a story where BP headlocks Silver Surfer it goes back to the drawing board until they get their brain stuck off stupid. Things like Cap and Spidey defeating the Hulk seem possible. But in no way would they beat him in a pure match of fisticuffs the way they did. Wolverine shouldnot be able to pierce Hulk among other things unless they are stated to upgrading his strenth to the 10-20 tons. If Sentrys origin has him stalemating Galactus then he shouldn't be too weak to lift a s.h.i.e.l.d carrier the next. There are certain rules you follow when telling a story. You can't just break them for reasons unexplained. So editors like Joe Q and all his assistant editors, start doing something. Because you're letting stupid inconsistancies get written into main stream canon.

Planning on ghosting another load of blood diamonds (what can we say, Mr. Robbin's doesn't learn fast), he is at the docks when he sees a fight explode from the water. Namor and Meranno duking it out. recognizing Namor easily from old movies his mother used to show him while talking about his grandfather's stint in "the War". Parker, in one of those stupidly nobel moments he hates, takes aim and open fires on Meranno. This of course only serves to piss off the rogue atlantean. he attacks the Hood, but as he gets close, he grips his ears bemoaning the "Din". he flees back to the water. Parker treds down to the ground using his boots and checks on Namor. Namor explains that Meranno is using a strange object of ancient atlantean magic to augment his abilities. While it reduces his reasoning skills, it doesn't make him dumb enough to be an easy win. Namor examins the cloak and shoes that Hood is wearing an announces that some of the symbols on the shoes and the hood's clasp are atlantean, and admits to hearing a faint sound himself coming from within the folds of the hood, but in his case it's the sound of fleash searing. Namor recognizing the Hood's abilty to disrupt Meranno's abilities pressgangs Parker Robbins into helping him.

Shang-Chi thought this would be a simple job. People had reported seing a woman being held captive by a group of masked men in a building in Hell's Kitchen. The police couldn't go in, but the Heroes 4 Hire thought it would be easy enough to accomplish that they decided only Shange Chi was needed. So Shang arrives on scene, knocking on the door. the men answer without masked faces, but he easily recognizes their gi's. Hand ninjas! Shang-Chi forces his way in and begins the fight, he's starting to be overwhelmed when a wall is blown inwards. The cause of the wall's destruction is none other than The Mighty Thor. both Sif and Valkyrie have been kidnapped by the hand, and despite their warriors' prowess, they are being held hostage somewhere within the city. Thor is on a warpath, and Shang-Chi decides that he signed on for the mission and he'll see it through. Watch out Hand, because now you have a Master of Martial Arts and a Thunder God... and they aren't happy.

Shopping for one's girlfriend is such a common occurance. this is why both Luke Cage and Phylla-Vell were looking at a diamond necklace in a display case one day, sharing almost the same thought: that is PERFECT for her. not only does this lead to a squabble over who needs it more ("birthday, anniversary, wife, lover, mother, savior of the cosmos..."), but when the peice of jewelry in question is stolen, and by some no name thug no less, the two heroes have to chase it down, both embarassed by the difficult it appears to be to catch the Vulture.
