BB3 will have lost its luster knowing that Joker won't be in it and Two Face would be the only real threat... plus the fact that the supporting cast is getting really old and Gary Oldman has hinted of retiring early. I'd like to see other villains but it really doesn't get much better than Two Face/Joker/Ras... and we'll have seen most of those guys at least at some point before a third solo film even gets made. Plus the fact that Nolan may walk. What would you prefer?

If Nolan were to do Batman 3, I'd say Batman 3. Nolan is a very competent filmmaker, and could easily make a good 3rd movie. Without him, I say something JLA related, though that might take years to develop now.

3rd film because you don't neccisarily need the Joker bringin Catwoman or something if you want 2 villians.

No JLA. Batman is and will always be the only thing good that ever came out of DC. Keep hima way from all those other superheroes.

Batman 3. I voted for the first option, because I'm going to really want Nolan back, but honestly, I'd want to move on and do the last one even if he wasn't going to direct it. I feel like the series needs a cap, and I love me some Batman.

No Joker? Use Penguin, Riddler, Ventriolquist with Scarface, Catwoman, Red Claw, Talia al'Ghul, Deadshot, or any of Bruce's other rogues of the last 70 years.

Yes, I'd like to see a Justice League or Superman/Batman film if it could get both Bale and Routh or Welling in there (among others), but the main franchises first.

Offer Nolan a blank check. Offer Nolan an inedpendant DC Studios with a guaranteed minimum per film budget in a black letter contract spelling it out explicitly, signed, witnessed, and notarized. Let him get all the time off to do other projects he needs. Warner Bros. does not need to let the current Batman franchise get Ratnered, and I especially don't want it to happen.

I voted 'World's Finest and No BB3' because it was the closest thing what I'd truly favor instead of a third Nolan Bat-flick, a proper vehicle for Flash, Green Lantern or Wonder Woman. It's too early to toss in a full-blown JLA project and World's Finest would at least do something to move toward an actual DC Film Universe. However, Batman's Rogues Gallery is certainly robust enough to make an entertaining and desired third film, even sans the appearance of The Joker.

I'll have a better answer after seeing TDK... if the main themes are covered with Two-Face and there is closure and no extra villain/plot line/arc setup for a third film then I'd say it isn't worth it unless Nolan and Co. have an extremely good story to tell in the next one. I don't think there will be a story that's good enough to precede (and ultimately jeapordize) an ensemble flick with the returning lead actors in the hero slots. I'd rather see Talia and Lex face off against Batman/Supes in a World's Finest so that's what I'd lean towards at the moment.

I voted 3rd solo with Nolan and Bale, they're doing it well so far, it just seems like a good idea to continue milking it. We may not be so fortunate to see a good interpretation like this for a while. Although, quitting while the going's good might be a better plan too, now that I think about it...
