The Dark Knight Rises Nolan Batman series to be 2 movies instead of 3?

i still just think it's a bad idea to do a jla movie, i'm sure it's gonna be as goofy as fantastic four.I'm not even gonna talk about the smallville episode.

While I do respect your opinion... it's wrong. Okay, so it might not be wrong, but whatever. I don't think they should just NOT make the movie because it MIGHT be goofy, that and no one's forcing you to watch it. I would be mildy disappointed but ultimately wouldn't mind if it came off as being "goofy," I really don't care as long as it's fun and enjoyable. So let those of us who will enjoy it, enjoy it, and you can just.... not watch it.

I just don't like the plot ideas out there that everyone is throwing out... the only way you can bring in J'oon is if the first movie is about the white martian invaders... thats totally lame if you took the actors as they are now. The only villains seem to come from deep outerspace and its just way too overthetop for me personally... as a series it might be its own Xmen... I am against a justice league any time soon though

Not necessarily. J'onn could already be around as an established hero by the time the movie takes place. Then again, we don't even know which characters are even going to be in the movie.

Even if its not about an alien invasion it has to be something doesn't it. I don't care much for the JLA source material and all but I have no clue how else to explain an alien from Mars just randomly being on the team... but other villains like Amazo and Despero are just too over the top for me. I know its a JLA but I don't think they could carry a film. Then if you throw in the legion of Doom it would be just like Xmen vs the Brotherhood bur I really don't see much potential for a movie about that either... its easy to say we don't know anything about what a JLA movie would be about... but it has to be something... so if you wanted a film what would you make it about? I just don't want to see a movie based on those villains above, but thats just me... maybe other people feel different about it

Well, jumping back on topic, it's somewhat probable that Nolan will do a 3rd film. I mean, the speculation on the top hand suggests that Two-Face will surface in the 3rd film, whereas Dent will be focused on in TDK.

I mean, that's the way I see it. Yes, I know Warner Bros. is all about the green, but I think, after TDK (most likely) becomes a success, they'll let Nolan do the 3rd film. But on the other hand, who doesn't want to see Two-Face in his full form in the 3rd film?

Bale maybe signed on for three films, but surely they can't force him to do a film if he doesn't like the direction the film is going?

Batman is a man, he has no super powers. All the good work Nolan and Bale have done would be broken if this Batman turns up in a JL film.

However an adult targeted anime JL film with Batman and Joker and everyone in it would be pure gold. Chance of this? 0%. Where's the money?

Anime? no thank you. I some anime stories are beautiful but I would not be in favor for an anime style JL movie. I would prefer a Bruce Timm CG style (ala incredibles) version rather then an anime movie.
