I used to frequent the JC, but I ended up getting permabanned a couple of years ago for being an idiot. If you've been there for as long as I was (2 years), then you'd realize just how crazy some of their rules are and you can see major double standards in the modding there.

It's not so much that way anymore (from what I hear), but there was a time when it was crazy. I guess now that the movies are over they have to sort of cater to people to keep members.

exactly what was infuriating. I didn't say anything bad about it at all. He was very disturbed and obviously hyper-defensive about his homosexuality....and his hard-on for George Lucas the Inviolate.

I was looking at their boards recently, and a mod went through the trouble of editing the word "******" and had said "you can't use that word like that", but the guy wasn't insulting anyone or anything. They have crazy ass rules. Like, in their fan fiction section, you're not allowed to have homosexual characters. Their mods are insanely biased. If they don't like you, they just search and search for reasons to ban you. So, once you get one ban, two bans, it's insanelye easy to be banned. I felt like I couldn't sneeze without being banned. Eventually, the slightest infraction would get me banned for like a month!

I sensed that I was gonna get permabanned soon, so I left on my own terms and faked my own death.

Seriously guys, this is kind of sad. I mean if someone makes a stupid comment then fair enough to rip into them and it's all in fun anyway but this guy had a pretty pathetic existence. It's not on to rip into someone like that because what you've gotta remember is that there's a human being at the other end. Have you noticed how he hasn't posted in a while. Someone with that depressing a life is on a knife edge and one day some fanboy is gonna make a nasty comment and he's gonna be swinging by the neck...get what I'm saying. Now I've ripped into people on these boards before but this is some lord of the flies **** man. Try and think about the big picture before you condemn someone as pathetic in future.
