This is aimed primarily at oldbies (Sorry [A])

I've learned who to blame at Fox for the travesties they have committed to our heroes: Tom Rothman.

I've become bitter and jaded due to becoming senile

Also according to bamfer "I back up the theory that all canadians are crazy"

When I started posting I was a sweet little 17 year old who feared the community

You're.*

Also, the fact that you're 8 months pregnant has contributed to the crazyness. Hormones and whatnot.

And I wouldn't call her a pornstar, just the most lovable hobag on the Hype.

I have learned to enjoy comics once again and that it is possible to have an interesting conversation regarding a fictional subject.

I've never really felt the need to get really "close" on a personal level to any of the posters during the almost 9 years I've been here, but on the other hand it's also been a comfort to know I can show up here and see some consistent faces (or avatars) as well.

I'm probably a lot more laid back now than I was 9 years ago. Debate, trolling and conflict don't really bother me so much. I can just take it or leave it.

Of course, being single, getting married, and subsequently divorced over those 9 years might have something to do with my more accepting attitude as well. ;)

I've been here close to 5 years now. I never felt the need to meet anyone here not that I would object to it. I have met Babs Gordon and Maxwell's Demon but that was more through another site, not so much this one.

I honestly don't feel I'm different or have changed, of course it's always easier to look inside instead of outside.

bumping for [new]er posters to chime in

I've learned that Kane##### actually isn't a robot or supercomputer.

I created this account 06-24-2007. I was in 7th grade. Not even 12 years old. I started posting more frequently when I was in 8th grade, and even showed my face, which gave me the reputation of being a little kid that wasn't (I hope) completely annoying on the internet. I've seen this place right at the time of Spider-Man 3 (and it's epic backlash), to the hype building up to The Dark Knight (greatest viral marketing and hype machine I've ever seen), to the night Heath Ledger died, to Marvel actually pulling off The Avengers, to the aftermath of Auroa, and everything since I joined, even if my post count is a little low. I've grown and changed a lot physically and mentally, and now I'm leaving my home - where I grew up - in the fall and starting my own life.

I'll still be here.

I've been coming to these forums for almost a decade. I used to lurk before joining and was intimidated about posting. Now I don't care as much about who is right or wrong. It's just a way to entertain myself. Also I used to think I knew everything, but I've learned that I really don't. I've been through a lot in my personal life over the past few years. I could never of imagined how my life would turn out. I'm kind of amazed that I'm still coming to the site and have built a good repore with some of the people here.

*looks at join date of everyone on page*

GET OFF MY LAWN!

All you saw was my life model decoy, that is all.

My changes primarily revolve around two things.

1.) Aunt Petunia

That incident taught me alot and now there is even a section dedicated to it in the play I wrote. I haven't performed it yet, but it's in the works. I should be performing it within the year.

2.) Politics.

Being a Liberal in Texas has always been an uphill battle. I love to argue as much as the next guy but being down here can wear you down. At least when I argue on The Hype, I know that I'll have some backup.

That's nice.

:thing: :doom: :thing:
I've heard a lot about this Aunt Petunia thing. Anyone care to explain it to me?

As for me, I've been an on and off poster for a number of years now. Many changes I've noticed have been the people. We keep a lot of good people around, but it seems like a lot of the older members that were here when I started left or got cocky and got themselves banned. I've also noticed there seems to be some ire towards certain boards, namely the Batman and Spider-man boards. I never noticed too much bad out of the Bat boards, but I don't often venture into the Spidey threads, so I wouldn't know.

I never even knew that Drakon stepped down as an admin. He gave me an infraction one time. Some bulls***.

:o

The lolpics, GIFS, photography, politics, and Awesome threads keep me coming.
