I remember my early Hype days with amused clarity. I lurked for almost a year, then Topher was chosen to play Venom. I used the Hype as my outlet to save my collegues and family from by Atrocitus-like outbursts after I saw Spider-man 3. I instantly made a legion of SHH detractors.

8 years later, I still post here several times a week. The site has always been well run and very interesting. My love for comics has grown considerably, even into middle-age, and the Hype helps satiate my raging inner nerd when I can't make it to the comic shop.
