I think so too - I mean, she’s the Goddess of Death, for heaven’s sake: are we truly supposed to believe she died?

Trouble is, if a planet exploding in her face isn't enough to kill her, then how are we supposed to believe anything else can?

The black cloud she appears out of when she confronts Thor and Loki on Earth it appears she has some sort of teleportation ability?

She couldn't get to Asgard except by following Thor and Loki except through the Bifrost it appears but whose to say she couldn't leave at any time?

We never did get a look at the underworld or limbo area she presumably was banished to as Ragnarok had to fit in quite a few storylines outside of focusing on Hela so I hope she returns and develops as a character without necessarily needing a typical villain dying at end of every movie.

Death being her domain and all, maybe she can't die. Hence Odin having to build a special cosmic prison for her instead.

She doesn't need to die.
Hela can be used as an ancillary villain. Pulling the strings and so on... She can be hanging out in Hel ruling over her domain and the souls of the dead. Becoming more similar to her comic book counterpart.

And... Eventually we learn through the time travel shenanigans of the Loki show that she's really the daughter of the Loki that escaped with the Cube.

Speaking as a huge Cate Blanchett fan who would genuinely love to see Hela in the MCU again, if they're not going to give her a decent role with a fairly decent amount of focus and screen time, I'd honestly rather they not bother bringing Hela back tbh. Just having a cameo or a nothing-y background role seems like a waste when Cate's considerable talent could be better utilised and appreciated elsewhere. However, if they bring her back and actually give Hela something interesting to do and a decent arc to continue on from her defeat and alleged death at the end of Ragnarok, them I'm there with bells on.

Thor: Love and Thunder Director Taika Waititi Meets With Ryan Gosling

There has been some speculation that he could be joining the MCU.
I actually think this could be for Taika's next project being filmed this fall... "Next Goal Wins".

If Waititi does bring Hela back, I think he’d have a lot of fun adapting the storyline where Hela runs a casino in Las Vegas. I’ve never read it, but I noticed that while researching the subject and thought that would be pretty awesome.

Hah, that was in New Mutants! Hela for some reason had lost control of Hel (something to do with Mephisto I think) and she randomly decided to hang out and run a casino in Vegas called the The Inferno Club... as you do. Dani Moonstar had to go there and ask her for a favour.

I would gladly welcome RG to T4 and the MCU.
But yeh i don't really have a special pick for him either... One can go through the Jason Aaron's "Jane Foster Thor" comics and try to find a suitable match for him, since those comics where the ones that inspired Taika to tell this particular story. Also it had to be a pretty significant role.

Having said that i've heard some names being thrown to the mix, but mainly... Gorr.
Which would be a fascinating and intriguing choice.

Well, she could have been taken to Hel and become the ruler of it.

I really want Baldur in the MCU (I'm used to thinking of him with his white hair, but I suppose that wasn't always the case). That being said, he theoretically should have died before the last movie since Baldur's death brings Ragnarok.

And Loki should have been Hela's (And Fenris') father. At this point we are off the book in terms of both Marvel Comics canon and the actual Norse mythology.

It sucks if you hold the comics dear as I do but at this point swerves, even big ones from the comics are almost expected.
