What is the problem people are having with the CGI, exactly? Wonderland isn't exactly supposed to look "real". It's supposed to be "surreal". Things should feel odd and weird and not quite right.

It doesn't look bad,but I don't think the tone of it is dark enough and it treads too much into kid friendly territory imo. I'd love to see a more realistic and rated R version of this movie with Burton doing it.

Completely agree. Just like Mirror Mask. There's something oddly creepy about real interacting with surreal.

Yeah, I don't understand the complaints of CGI considering the quality the teaser is in. It's not bad, but it's obviously not that high of quality.

Great teaser trailer, not surprising it focused a lot on Depp, he is the big draw here. The theatrical trailer will probably be far more even.

I hate comparing two entirely different actors like this but comparing Bale yelling at a cameraman to Depp eating a hat is laughable.

A better comparison would be Bale eating bugs to Depp eating a hat, now we're talking.
