i don't know why people think this is an american mcgee's alice in wonderland movie :S this is the adaptation to the actual tale written by lewis carrol, it isn't meant to be scary, maybe creepy but in the own way the book is, more than creepy, bizarre, in which Burton's the master

Johnny Depp never size to amaze me. He is absolutely amazing and bloody brilliant. After this teaser (OMG) the movie is on top spot in my ‘’must see’’ list. And there’s yet to see Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall’s looks

WOW look what they did to his irises....thats so subtle i didnt notice it until these caps (so much creepier now)

and then the third pic how big his head is, also in the fourth his eyes are totally not looking in the same direction....and i still have no clue whats on his hands

Well, it's not intended to be scary for all people, there's people (like me) that gets scared for bizarre scenarios, and this is a very bizarre and sick movie

A fat guy dressed up at the Joker wasn't scary either. The amount of bad Joker costumes last year was hilarious and we will be seeing a ton of bad Mad Hatter ones this year. This will be the Halloween costume movie of the year though.

Nice to see Burton did his research. The thought of the Hatter's fingers being stained with mercury creeps me out though.
