Maybe it's just a Character Poster. Somebody Posted a Poster with Alice and the White Rabbit on it.

I'd say it's definitely a character poster... that's been happening more and more with different movies... there were like 7 posters for Where the Wild Things Are.

Oh sweet! Depp is playing Alice!

I mean...theres not a single other person on that poster who could be the main character, the star, the title character of Alice, other then Johnny Depp!

I'm right there with you, man.

You need to see all 3 posters together for the big panel image. It looks fantastic. I know people have posted links, but here you go once again. I think they took a really creative approach to these posters and how they were released. If anyone is on twitter you should follow the movie's handle too, I just started!

Rated PG for some ****ed up images.

oooooohhh look. Depp is in the middle of the poster.

Burton are you not ashamed?

is he making movies because he wants to tell a story or is he doing movies to show that Depp is hes friend?

I fully expect this to be Depp's movie. Heck, if you look in the credits at the bottom of the posters, he's the only one who gets name billing before the title.

I can't believe you people are acting surprised about Depp overshadowing everyone else in this movie.

I wish I could love the design of the Chershire Cat, but I only like it. There's something off about it.

He looks just a little cartoony or something. Make him more realistic with the huge smile, and he'd look creepy.

Um, how does Hatter appear in two places at once in the poster?

Oh, right, Depp.

I don't know if these have been posted yet but they're new to me

from the Facebook event page for the movie

I see where your joke is coming from, but I honestly love the director/actor duo. Every project they have worked on together has been entertaining.. Sleepy Hollow and Sweeney Todd were among my favorites.

I know is it just me or does that poster not creep you out.

It didn't creep me out, but it definitely sets the mood for the movie. I actually give credit to the people who made the posters to have them embody so much emotion in the artwork. It is better than those movie posters that have the title of the film with a plain background you know?

I still can't believe more and more people are jumping on the 'I hate Burton and Depp teamups' bandwagon. There really is no reason to get annoyed, which is why I used the term bandwagon since more and more people out of nowhere started to talk crap about their work together when it used to be only a small handfull.

I really can't see the reason why to get irritated or pissed that they like to work together and make good movies as well. If anything it's a bonus since you know there won't be any problems on set(like a good number of other films where the director and actor/s butt heads)and Depp is such a great character actor that even when some of his characters are a tad bit similar, he still does a great job of making them unique. Only character of his I didn't care for too much was Willy Wonka but that was mainly due to being such a big fan of Gene Wilder. Well, that and the Michael Jackson comparison kind of ruined it for me too.

A lot of you are forgetting that out of all the actors in this film, Depp in fact is the most popular, which means he's the biggest draw. It's a typical and normal studio method to help sell the film to the general audience by giving him top billing.

As dogwonder78 said, I have enjoyed all of the Burton films he has made with Johnny Depp and don't mind many more in the future so long as they're not sequels but something a bit new.

Oh, right, Depp.

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. It should've been the March Hare at the end of the table.

I didn't really care much for the trailer, but I'm excited to see it in IMAX 3D in front of Avatar.

who's doing the CGI for this movie? It's been so-so from the teaser and pix.
