Tim Roth is Emil Blonsky/Abomination in The Incredible Hulk!

I think Guardian snuggled up to it and Prefix is tucking him in. :yay:

That's.....disturbing.....

So, how many minutes of screentime do you guys think the Abomination will get? Btw, does anyone have any pictures of the Abomination from the comics or animated 1996 TV series.

According to LL the final battle will be around 26 minutes long. Assuming there will be a fair amount of pauses/interruptions in the action during this fight (Other character reactions to the fight, environment damage etc) I'd guess we might see around 10 minutes worth of actual footage of the Abomination?

I hope not, I want this battle to be full on with as little interruptions from other characters as possible. If we at least got an actual 15 minutes of these two fighting before they were to start interruptions, that'd be sweet. All in all, it's quite possible we may get the entire 26 minutes.

well its unrealistic to think that there would be a fight 26 minutes long.
not even the matrix revolutison fight was 20 minutes long.
and again watch my post about the final fight in Transformers.

Also, how would you write a fight that is 26 minutes long? There's only so many ways you can show that both characters are really strong.

Well, it needs to be at least 15 minutes long & it needs to be good. I want to see a back & forth fight.

Does anyone have any pics of the Abomination from the comics?

Thanks a lot man. Those are some great images. Btw, as for this looking silly on film, I don't know, it depends on how it's done. If they were to weak it just a little bit & use some pretty good CGI, it could look good on film.

I think Roth will do an awesome job. I am a bit of a traditionalist, so I will miss the comic look of the abomination (always loved the "ear fins"). However, the revised version looks cool in the trailer. I'm just glad to see this new movie getting the proper treatment.

Why the abomination would not be in the 1st film was beyond me.
Superman = Luthor
Spider-Man = Green Goblin
FF = Doom
Batman = Joker
HULK = ABOMINATION

Although considering how the first film turned out, I'm glad the abomination will make his appearence in this film. :word:

This is a reboot, just thought I'd tell ya as I don't want you thinking it's a sequel to the last Hulk film that was made.

see i love this look but it just wold look silly on film :pal:

A literal translation perhaps, but I think a compromise that at least has something recogniseable from the books, would have worked just fine:

I still like the design we got best but I will say if we got something like that there wouldn't be any complaints coming from me. Btw, I know a lot of people don't like it but I like the fact that the Abomination looks somewhat like a zombie & his body looks as if it's decaying. That is what I like most about the design.

The design we have doesn't offend me, but it annoys me that we didn't get the comic book design.

It doesn't really annoy me but next time we get the Abomination in a new Hulk franchise, we'll probably get the comic book design. One villain that I do think needs to be redesigned a little bit is the Leader, his head doesn't need to be that large on film.

Hey wobbly, I think it's high time that I say congratulations; you actually did a better job translating the Abomination from comics to screen than the big-wigs in Hollywood! Kudos, my friend!
