Haha yea that'll happen. I took a day or 2 off to complete South Park and to check out the new BF4 maps and what not, when i came back i was a bit rusty. Lost a few matches until i was able to link up with some friends and we just went on a tear. Won like 15 straight before I called it a night. Got my win % back up over 70%

I don't know why it didn't hit me before, but Titanfall is like a current gen version of Metal Warriors, a game from way back on the SNES. That game had amazing multiplayer and ran on a very similar concept

Now I'm not egotistic, but holy ****, I did something worthy of IGN's Top 10 Kills of the Week.

You can NOT win in this game unless you're in a team with friends, I'm convinced of that. I don't mean to sound like I have an ego because seriously, there are games that I can get 75+ Attrition points and games that I can get 40.. but there are a LOT of people that just flat out suck in this game, lol.

Honestly, I don't care about skill level.. as long as you're having fun who cares how terrible or good you are.. But yeah.. people can be either really good or really bad at this game...But the ones that are bad are rrrrrrrrreally bad, haha. I'm middle of the road simply because I don't care about competitive MP anymore.. I play to have fun.. not to strategically plan out how I'm gonna be the best.

Now.. In a game like Destiny? Yes. Then I will plan out how to be the best.

Haha iv won plenty without any friends, it really comes down to just the skill level of the team, unless you are playing Last Titan, then, well if you aren't working as a group, you're getting offed quickly.

One thing I do hope, is that they add a playlist similar to what Gears Of War had in that you can only play if you are by yourself, meaning no parties. Its fun as hell running into a group of 6 when you are also with a big group, but if you are with a bunch of randoms, ohhh boy, good luck.

That is pretty neat. Somebody responsible for Titanfall had to of been a fan of that game at some point.

Ha, yeah, Metal Warriors is a fun SNES game. I have it on my Wii. I haven't played it in many years, though.

Easier deff. The games controls are extremely intuitive and game modes like attrition offer u the chance to get points by killing bots, so even if you struggle against other humans, you can still contribute to your team

Yeah, I told my Xbox to record when it occurred. Maybe next weekend I'll figure out how to upload it. Does Xbox hold clips for a certain amount of days or is there till I delete it?

haha yea, I rarely see people with a lot of deaths, even the worst plays typically end up with like 8 or so deaths. Its not something like Battlefield where you can end up dying every 5 seconds after a spawn. Plus as i said, the bot kills can help you even if you are out matched with the other players in the game. Its really a great game for those who want to do cool s**t even though they might not be the best at online FPS titles.

Yea I believe when you tell your Xbox to record something it'll hold it for 3 months maybe? Then when you go to edit it you can save it permanently and upload it to OneDrive.

I've been getting placed in really bad lobbies. It's been great for my scores but not very challenging. I'm wondering if the new matchmaking system pairs mainly based on levels now. I refuse to Regen because I don't see a benefit besides a tag next to your name but I hope that's not whats keeping me pitted against lower level players.

Id imagine its pretty damn similar. I haven't read any reviews yet, but I doubt the two will be wildly different.

From what iv read, the new matching making is based on previous matches. So lets say your team is running through the other team every match, the game will switch out lobbies and pair you with another lobby that was also winning. I haven't done the regen either and I haven't been paired with too many low ranked lobbies/teams. I don't see too man non re-gens outside of Campaign.

Iv actually seen the opposite happen to what you are describing tho. For the first time since the game launched I had a sub 40pt Attrition match. I avg around 60-70 per and have NEVER dipped that low. Since the new matchmaking iv been paired up against fairly skilled lobbies. The other night i had a string of ass kickings that dropped me down to a 70 win %

Maybe you are just getting better? Thats why the lobbies seem unbalanced? Also the new matchmaking is only for Attrition and Hardpoint. So if you are playing LTS or CTF, you won't notice it.

Here's the game on 360. Graphics/effects obviously have taken a hit but it looks largely the same.

Yeah, the 360 version looks fine. Obviously the graphics are muddier, but it still looks like it plays well.

I guess I just need to play more consecutive rounds. I've definitely gotten better. My high Attrition score is 135 lol but I think that spoke more to the level of competition.

Yea thats pretty damn high, unless you killed like 50 bots, then well, its not so impressive, but still, iv only seen a score that high once or twice in 300 or so matches. My highest was like 115?


But yea the matchmaking takes over after a few rounds, which is kind of annoying. It really slows down the time it takes to get into a match.
