Titans Live Action Series on the way...

For the love of GAWD, Borelanti better only contribute scripts and ideas they look at, and then add to the 'avoid this' pile.

I loved Arrow for a while, but it became clear, very early on in Flash season 1 and Arrow season 2, that someone in the Arrowverse production is out of ideas. Recycling (and BUTCHERING) characters from other stories, killing off characters and alterations as decreed by studio interference, THREE seasons of Flash Vs Other Speedster, too many damn "you must run faster, Barry/Run, Barry, RUN" speeches, and the wrong romances and Tumblr ships...

Just... so effing done with that universe. And it sucks, because a lot of the actors are good, or clearly trying, and there IS some wonderful writing and effects on occasion.

Seriously... I want the Titans. I want DickFire. Not a crappy DickRaven cuz teh fan arts with Beast Boy going emo or some random no name taking the place of established characters. Just... just give me the Titans. /whine

I honestly just started watching the old Teen Titans cartoon (I watched some when it was first airing, but I was more into Batman Beyond/Batman TAS. This came out a bit later. Probably thought I was too cool for it.) I watched The Judas Contract film a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it. Beast Boy is by far my favorite Titan. Always been a fan of Nightwing. Also picked up the Earth One Teen Titans graphic novels.

Has anymore been said about this series? If they do it, I at least hope to see Beast Boy/Nightwing/Raven/Starfire. I imagine Cyborg is most likely off limits... which sucks. Static-Shock would be cool to see in this maybe? I always felt he's been underused in the DCU.

I think those four characters are the only ones confirmed so far so you have no need to worry! I'm more interested in who else they use to flesh out their roster

That vaguely sounds familiar haha. I'm all for being optimistic... maybe he could do decent... IDK.

So have any characters been confirmed? Blue Beetle would also be cool. I remember there was test footage of a Blue Beetle show back in the day, I do believe.

Teen Titans is easily up there with the greatest superhero cartoons. It was a fantastic adaptation of the comics and a ton of the popularity that the team enjoys today can be directly attributed to the success of that show.

Personally I thought the adaptation of the Judas Contract was handled better on the series

Hopefully we get some news on this show at SDCC

I'd rather the team be in a movie though, they deserve the bigger budget. This team has the potential to be a very successful franchise. The stories are already there.

Really hoping for Donna Troy but I'm gonna keep my expectations low. She always has gotten the short end of the stick in these adaptations. Curious to see who else is on the roster though

I strongly doubt it, which is a shame. He is a core Titan, and they've basically stripped him of his identity in order to make him a token JLAer.

I wouldn't count on it. Most likely they'll replace him with Blue Beetle like the animated movies have done. I don't mind that honestly since Jaime is one of my favorite DC characters but I can see why those wanting the 80's team would be disappointed.

Deathstroke has featured a lot in adaptions in recent years, so as a result of that, I wonder will they focus more on other villains, like Blood and Blackfire, amongst others.

Here's the casting call for the 4 revealed characters so far! They seem in line with their comic counterparts and that has me intrigued! Interesting that they want to cast an Asian as Beast Boy but its pretty cool. Raven and Starfire are open casting calls, the latter I expected to be but not not the former... Cool nonetheless....
