Its the X-Men. If Marvel Studios managed to release Guardians, Ant-Man, Shang-Chi and Thunderbolts without a disastous critical reception. I don't think the X-Men are going to be a harder task. There are simply too many X-Men materials to draw from, for them to screw this up.

Feige confirms Jake Schreier. About time!:

Makes sense they are going to recast the X-Men post Secret Wars, they are going to milk the OG’s return which actually works in the context of the multiversal universe where current in, but like Feige said, after SW there will be a reset and things while coalesce into one throughline for the MCU future leaving all of those multiversal shenanigans to the side.

Now I can see them already hinting at the brand new X-Men in Secret Wars. It should be fun seeing how they’ll handle that property and it’s for sure one of my most anticipated MCU films in the horizon.

The filmmaker noted that working on Thunderbolts* was a learning experience, adding, “The biggest learning curve for me was the proportion of the action to the more emotional, character-driven scenes, and how, even though it’s more shooting days than I’ve ever had, they get eaten up quite quickly by the action stuff. By the time we got to the end of it, it felt like, ‘Oh, now I feel like we get how to do this a little bit better.’”

I watched robot and frank last night and there’s a chance I may have overreacted to the news. It was quite a good film. I really wish they had got someone a bit more diverse and I really hope they don’t water down the civil rights themes but I’m willing to give him a go now

I watched it many years ago, maybe even a decade, but I think I really liked it. plan to watch it again soon.

you should watch Beef too, on Netflix. Its a very great show and Jake explores a different genre and flavor, so between all these projects, it should give us a better idea of his versatility and potential.

Oh yeah I watched a bit of Beef and I know this sounds silly because it’s part of the plot but I avoided it for a bit because they were all so angry and I just wasn’t in the right headspace for that yet

lol. I found the whole concept of the show pretty awesome lol. I found it really original, the whole first episode and how all started.
but fair game. The viewer has to be in the mood, I guess, yeah.
