why does it look like he has scars on his face?

 

I was wondering about the scars too. I'm surprised more people haven't commented on that. Think those are part of the movie? Or maybe an unrelated project Tom was doing at the time

 

Eddie Brock didn't have scars in his original appearance so I don't know if it's a Venom thing

 

This could be complete nonsense on my part, but if it is related to this movie, maybe after he becomes Venom, with the gaping wide maniacal mouth, that transformation somehow scars/stretches his regular skin

Just spitballing here

 

Probably from another production. Looks like he has a shaved head there, but not in the set pics?
